Swept Away - Erie, PA

Get Swept Away in this beautiful Lakeside ranch retreat on 80’ cliff above Lake Erie! Plenty of room to relax with the family or group of friends. Large, well-stocked kitchen with special edition keurig, k-pod coffee selection and teas. Seating for 9 in kitchen or move to the dining room for 8. Then move to the sunroom or deck to take in the “3rd Best Sunsets in the World”! The large living room has extra large sectional to cuddle up and watch 65” tv or crash on the cali-king sofa/bed. Two spacious full bathrooms shared between all 3 bedrooms.

CAUTION: Home sits above 80’ cliff with no railing or barrier. Children should not be left attended in backyard.

Lakeside Drive is located in a quiet neighborhood in the City of Erie. Our neighborhood beach at Chautauqua Park and Beach is just a few blocks away (see listing photos). It is 5 min from downtown and the Bayfront Convention Center. Located just across the water from Presque Isle State Park and Waldameer, it is 15 min by car.

MAX GUESTS 10: Must count all visitors to the property at the time of booking. No additional visitors, or special events allowed. Hosts and staff live nearby.

This house was beautiful....right on the lake with beautiful views. Was centrally located for all the we wanted to do..Waldemere park, splash lagoon (since it was raining) and preque isle park.

Perfect getaway!

From start to finish, Swept Away was an incredible stay. Website depicted the property perfectly, a little slice of heaven. Janelle was extremely accommodating and very understanding. Awesome place to stay and amazing people to work with!

Family vacation

This home was spacious enough for the 9 of us and had the most breathtaking sunsets I’ve ever seen! We were close to the casino, zoo and beach which was very convenient for the family. Would definitely stay again!

Absolutely Perfect!

We rented this beautiful home for an impromptu weekend trip to celebrate our daughter’s 13th birthday with a few of her friends. It could not have been more perfect. The house was comfortable and so so clean. The view is absolutely stunning. But the best part was the wonderful owner! Communication was great and she went completely above and beyond to make sure that we had a wonderful stay and a memorable experience. Thank you so much and we will definitely be back!!

Best VRBO in Erie

This is by far the best rental in Erie. The view of Presque Isle is immaculate. The house is spacious, very clean and has all the amenities.

Lakeside memories

Working out of Town

The house was amazing, very clean and felt like home. Spectacular views of Lake Erie, the leaves changing into their fall colors. It was a great place to stay and highly recommended. When in town we will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful and peaceful stay on Lake Erie

Our ladies' weekend was perfect, complete with a clean home, lake view, spacious kitchen, extremely comfortable couch, and lovely bedrooms and restrooms. We would love to come back again. Highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a peaceful oasis.

Fishing Trip

Had parking for 2 trailered bass boats and rigs. Great views. If its a guys trip sleeps 4 without bunking together or using the pull out couch. Great place to stay. Host was very responsive.
