Great house, quiet neighborhood, and nice back yard. Stayed with our family of 5 to visit Presque Isle. Could have easily accommodated another family with all the space.
We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful, comfortable home. It is in a lovely, quiet neighborhood. The kitchen was well-stocked. All of our needs were met. We would definitely stay here again!
Our whole family was so pleased with the amount of available space in this home. We had 10 guests (3 adult couples and 4 kids) and it never felt like we were in each otherâs way! People could hang out in the living area, the dining room, the spacious basement room, or any of the large bedrooms. The two sinks in the kitchen made it so easy to clean up after cooking. The owner Naomi was responsive, helpful, and communicative. We would definitely look for this house again if we come back to Erie to stay with a big group.
This was the perfect rental for us to stay at with both sets of grandparents and our 3 kids. It was a great location and had a great yard for the kids. The kitchen was great and spacious. We would love to stay here again!
The place was clean and spacious and had plenty of key items stocked even for a large group (toiletries, kitchen wares, detergent, etc.) â this was a great space for multiple adult couples. A big dining area for family-style meals, games, and the neighborhood is quiet, safe, and easy to get to all the key spots in town.
We had such a good experience last year that our family stayed here again this summer to visit our extended family in Erie. The location is great in a nice quit neighborhood and the home has been newly renovated. The rooms are large and welcoming and thereâs even a pool table in the finished basement. All and all a great experience, communication with Naomi was excellent and she was very accommodating!
The house was a great gathering place for family reunion meals. Loved the yard and porch. Grandchildren held Pool table tournaments when they werenât at the beach or Waldameer.
Very clean and nice amenities.
The large kitchen is well laid out and user friendly.
My extended family and I stayed here over a long holiday weekend to visit nearby relatives. Great home with lots of space for all of us. The large kitchen is ideal. The yard is lovely for kids to play.
Our family had a great experience staying here while in Erie for two extended family reunions. We usually stay in hotel rooms, so staying all together in one vacation home was both preferable and affordable. Everything was clean and newly remodeled. The pool table in the remodeled basement was a fun added bonus. Great experience, thanks so much Noemi, we hope to stay here again in the future if possible.
Two sons & their wives, two grandchildren, and grandparents met in Erie to enjoy the weekend. The kitchen was big and two sinks was great. Nice backyard for the 2 and 5 year old to play. The enclosed back porch was lovely to gather after the kids were in bed. Presque Island State Park is close and we spent the afternoon at the beach. The kids and grandkids are a wonderful time at Waldameer.
Fantastic place to stay about 5 minutes from Mercyhurst University, plenty of places to get food, staples, etc. Not only was the house perfect, the little added touches were very nice, i.e sponge candy, high end appliances, plenty of lines....
The house was great. Loved the kitchen! So many blankets and towels, made it easy for entire family to be comfortable. Check in and check out weâre super easy. Owners were quick to respond with our one question. Wish all rental houses were so equipped.
Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home. The neighborhood was great, the house was spacious, and it was clean as a whistle. The pool table was a hit with my children. They also had a ton of linens and extra dishes and bowls which came in handy. Will definitely book this property again when we come back to Erie.
We booked this house for a family reunion. It is a vintage home in an established neighborhood that has been renovated beautifully! The kitchen is to DIE for!!!! The rooms are elegant and spacious! There was plenty of room for eating, games, recreation for our large group. The house is centrally located so easy distance to most areas attractions. Highly recommend!!
Our family/party of 9 were in Erie for graduation. This house was perfect. There were big, comfortable rooms where all of us could gather. The bedrooms were also all big and comfortable, and gave us each a place to have separation. Especially loved the kitchen, and the basement with the pool table. The location was perfect, easy access to campus, to downtown, to Presque Isle, everywhere we needed to be. We couldn't have been happier. 10/10 would definitely rent again.
We came up to presque isle for a few days for the 4th of July. Very large rooms! Beautiful sun room! I appreciated the whole house was equipped with everything!! Great neighborhood. We rode our bikes took walks, even went to a garage sale!! Very easy to communicate with host! Accommodating for us as well! :-) Dar
Very enjoyable and comfortable stay. Fireplace instructions questionable. should it stay on, should we turn it off??? No batteries in remote for fireplace. Kitchen should have some type of mixer.
Beautiful 5 bedroom house in a very nice neighborhood. There were a few misleading items in the house description:
1) In the bedroom descriptions, it states there is a crib. It is actually a pack-n-play.
2) It states there is a high chair. We didn't see it. (NOTE: We did not ask the host about it since we didn't see that one is supposed to be available until we got home)
3) There was no outside furniture.
In addition, the ceiling fans in the family room and one of the bedrooms made a disturbing/scary noise after running for 15-20 minutes.
My wife and I own the local FASTSIGNS center in Downtown Erie. We have lived in almost every zip code in the Erie area as we enjoy restoring and remodeling homes which we have either sold or rented when we move to the next project. We currently live just a few blocks from this home on Sassafras. We prefer staying in homes when we travel with our family and are thrilled to offer this home for your visits to our lovely area.
My wife, Naomi, and I have enjoyed restoring this house to it's original glory. The home is located in a delightful neighborhood just minutes from the Erie Zoo; Downtown Erie and the beautiful Lake Erie Bayfront. A stately golden brick home built in 1953 it was in great need of some TLC. The sunroom is one of our favorite resting spots and we have enjoyed watching the chipmunks, squirrels, birds and occasional deer in the spacious backyard. Because we are just blocks from the Erie Zoo we can often hear some of the animals during the daytime feedings. The monkeys and peacock are especially enjoyable.
We believe this home offers the best for family and friends gathering for a few days.; comfort, convenience and spaces for individual and group activities. We have used only quality materials and furnishings to help you feel at home. Please don't hesitate to tell us if we can provide anything to make your stay more enjoyable.
