Afton escape centrally located on the brew trail

Centrally located on the brew trail, this home is a short drive to the local wineries, breweries and distilleries, as well as the abundance of hiking and outdoor activities in the area.

Despite being in the middle everything, the home is set back off the main road and still maintains a quiet family friendly atmosphere.

The space
This newly renovated home features a well appointed kitchen with modern appliances, dining area and coffee bar.

The home also features a full size washer/dryer, Keurig Duo coffee maker and a 50 inch Smart HDTV.

Each bedroom features queen bedding and wireless phone charging.
Linens and towels are provided free of charge.

The outdoor area includes a gazebo, firepit and chairs as well as a charcoal grill. Please be sure to bring your own charcoal, if desired.

What a great rental! Super location for starters. Newer construction, really well put together, good layout. Nice amenities, kitchen is sufficiently well equipped. Comfortable bed, neat as a pin, spotlessly clean. Good communication from host. We come to the area every year for the Crozet Winter Beer Festival, and will certainly stay again next year.

The home was very nice.and spacious. Very clean and quiet. It was close to everything we wanted to do. Had trouble with opening the unit but when we called they took care of it immediately. If you are 6 feet tall you'll be able to get in and out of the bed but I am under 5 feet and couldn't get in and out without moving the daybed over. As well as the microwave for someone who is over 5 1/2 feet tall or more. The fan running constantly was annoying in the bathroom. It would have been nice to have a clock by the bed. The heat and AC worked great The water in the shower was nice. Overall it was very nice and would highly recommend if you are tall.

While celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary, we found this place to be perfect for quiet, roomy, and very modern and clean home. We enjoyed that it was detached from any owner's place which isn't always the situation. Owners were always quick to respond to any needs we had. Only complaint I had was the tub really needs some anti slip strips or mat, Little slippery while taking a shower. Overall highly recommend this Vrbo,

Clean and Cozy

The pristine 1000 sq ft home was perfectly located near major highways, with easy access and no rough or mountainous terrain leading to it. We were centrally located between Staunton and the Charlottesville wine country. The interior is in new condition and beautifully renovated. All appliances were new and working. We loved the covered fire pit out back and used it each night after returning from our adventures (wood and a starter log is supplied for a very reasonable fee). We loved our stay! Finally, the host is very responsive, kind, and thoughtful.

Very Nice!

We had a very nice weekend. This property is extremely clean and well maintained. It feels brand new. The location is perfect for enjoying the many wineries and breweries along Rt. 151. Charlottesville is a short drive away. The furniture and beds are very comfortable. The area is very quiet at night. The black out curtains in the bedroom make it easy to get a good night's sleep. We would definitely stay here again.

This house is as advertised! So clean, comfortable, great amenities, well stocked. Reasonable requests as far as checkout. Convenient location just off Rockfish Valley Highway. Quiet and peaceful. Would absolutely stay again.

Quick trip with our littles (2&3 yrs old)

This was the cleanest place we have ever stayed! The pictures are not deceiving at all. Very well equipped home and did I mention clean, because it is immaculate. The location is perfect and the neighborhood is quiet. We enjoyed our stay and will likely be repeat renters in the future.

Winery Birthday getaway

We were really impressed with the house. The location was perfect for us. We wanted to visit different wineries and vineyards and it was right there among many and a short drive to others, including Monticello. It was absolutely one of the cleanest I've ever stayed in, it had everything you would need, and very quiet. If I had one complaint was it seemed hard to regulate the air so that it stayed cool at night, if there was a fan in the extra bedroom, it wouldn't have been a problem.

Lovely cottage on a peaceful country side road

We loved our stay. The cottage is immaculate and the hosts have thought of everything to make visitors comfortable. Speaking of comfort, the beds were super! We slept very well. The location is very close to the Shenandoah National Park and just a short drive to Monticello, both of which we visited. Thank you so much for a lovely experience!
