The cabin was nice. We were very comfortable. The open floor plan worked well for us. Location was great rural but close enough to stores and freeway.

Nice, quaint, on a farm

Property and stay was pleasant. Was a little thrown off by the farm area and the many animals near by. However, the apartment was very nice and quaint. Everything was clean and it was a pleasant stay.

Great Little Getaway

We have family in the are and were thrilled to find this little gem. The goats were so much fun to watch and we loved our guard goat Pepper. The cabin was all updated and very clean with all the amenities. We hope to be back soon!!!

Very nice cabin

This cabin is everything you need for a few days. I brought my 85 year old Mom with me and the ramp made it easy for her to get in. Host was so kind to us. We will definitely keep this on our favorites.

Work Trip

Great place to stay we found it very comfortable and relaxing after long day of working. If we have to go back to the Houston Tx area again we will check this location first to see if it is available. Host and her family are all very nice and my husband really enjoyed talking with son. We also enjoyed watching the goats.

Lovely cabin, nestled in tall trees

I really enjoyed staying at this cabin. It was just perfect for one or two people. It was so fun to drive up and see a horse and a longhorn and a couple of goats. The inside of the cabin was just lovely. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was fabulous. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing stay.

Wonderful

We traveled from Mississippi to attend my grandson’s wedding. I found this little gem, absolutely wonderful. Very clean, the outside is rustic country on a working farm, but the inside was quant elegance. We will definitely stay here again if we ever return. Thank you to our host.

Ac filter was so thick in dust ac wouldn’t work properly

I would honestly never rent this unit again old food left I. Fridge and in cabinets always had to deal with farm animals gotta the walls and the property if just nasty

Great for handicap/wheelchair accessibility!

My daughter and I stayed here while on a short, mother/daughter vacation to Houston. We could not have possibly picked a better place to stay! I am an amuptee that uses a prosthetic, but also use a wheelchair during times where I don't have my prosthetic on. I had no difficulty getting my wheelchair into the bathroom and maneuvering around to take a shower or use the facilities. Same for the kitchen as well as there is plenty of space throughout the entire house to move about and a ramp outside if needed. The owner was great with communication and we loved waking up to all of the animals outside having their breakfast! It was so relaxing and a fantastic place to stay. Highly recommend to anyone looking for handicap accessibility and better than any hotel could have provided for us. Huge thank you to the owners, will absolutely stay here again if we go back to the area again!

Our oasis in the midst of baseball tournaments

We needed this house so badly! After 3 games in 2 days and 2 more to go, we were tired and needed rest. Walking in and seeing this beautifully decorated place just immediately had us relaxing. It’s just a few minutes away from the Crosby baseball fields, which is such a blessing. Can’t say enough…gorgeous full kitchen, large bathroom, closet space, super comfy bed, spacious living area, and great laundry space! Bonus for us was the goats, horse, etc. We felt at home! 2 of us stayed the first night, 3 the second. It worked well for all of us. Being able to wash uniforms and keep all our drinks cold was amazing. Yes, I’m gushing because it is that wonderful. Very accommodating hosts who answered questions ASAP (& I hope we were supposed to keep the gate open, if not we are so sorry!). The entire place is very handicapped accessible with seamless design that keeps that from being the focus. Highly recommend!!

TERRIBLE experience

After reaching out a week before the reservation to request a change in reservation (HARD freeze forecasted, family emergency) the owner took over 48 hours to respond - and when he did, he just sent a copy of the cancellation policy explaining he wouldn't amend, adjust or work with me - and refused any refund. I asked again for ANY help with the reservation - and he didnt respond until the day OF the booking. At this time, I explained my disappointment in his customer service skills and informed him that it would be reflected in my review. I figured kiddo and I might as well go.....We get there AT 9PM after my 12hr shift, attempt to gain access - and thats when the owner explains HE IS REFUSING ENTRY because I threatened a bad review. I didn't THREATEN, I promised. His "customer service" is lacking, to say the least. VRBO couldn't even get him on the phone - its 930pm and 29 degrees, in the middle of NO WHERE - and he is refusing entry because I expected DECENT customer service and timely responses. Refusing entry and couldn't even tell me BEFORE we made the 2 hour drive.... He goes on to tell me he doesn't want me on the property, that his entire family is there and that I "need to leave." VRBO CSR FINALLY gets him on the phone and he's RUDE TO THEM as well. Who cant be BOTHERED to tell a PAYING TENANT that the reservation isnt being honored for NO VALID REASON, but he also wasn't issuing a refund?save your money!
