NEWLY RENOVATED Tommy's Bearwatch Cabin

Fully renovated cabin nestled in the Appalachian Mountains and 1 mile from Grayson Highlands State Park, and 15 minutes from Virginia Creeper Trailhead. Being located in the Mt Rogers Recreation Area gives opportunities for hiking, biking, fishing, and horseback riding. Tubing or Kayaking can be enjoyed on the nearby New River. It's secluded and peaceful. Brand new furniture and appliances. Come to enjoy the outdoors or merely sit by a night fire and watch the clear skies and stars above.
The space
Tommy's Bearwatch is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath, cabin. The master bathroom has a queen bed and French doors with a view. The 2nd bedroom has a full/twin bunk bed. The living room couch can sleep an additional person as needed. A pack and play can be available for those who need it. WIFI TV provides the ability to watch streaming services such as HULU, Netfli, Disney+, and more. Plenty of outdoor space to roam, and a large deck to sit and enjoy the country air.

Grayson Highlands State Park is 1 mile away and has amazing hikes and views. Waterfalls and Wild Ponies can be found here along with the Appalachian Trail that runs through the park.

Virginia Creeper Trailhead is 15 minutes away. Several bike rentals in the area can help you enjoy this highly recommended 17 mile trek with ice cream stops along the way.

The New River is 20 minutes away (depending on which section you want to enjoy) and can be tubed or canoed/kayaked, or even just to fish at for the day.

Hungry Mother State Park in Marion, VA is an hour drive. Lots of things to do here at this lake from a sandy beach, to fishing, to non-motorized water sports, and more hikes.

Abingdon, VA is 50 minutes away and home to the Barter Theatre and a handful of delicious restaurants.

West Jefferson, NC is a 35 minute drive and has the extremely popular Ashe County Cheese. Don't return home without some.
