Conveniently located just one and a half miles from Ocean View and two and a half miles from Bethany Beach, this beautiful and well-appointed home offers the perfect home base for a relaxing and unforgettable vacation with your family and friends! You will be close to restaurants, a supermarket, parks, Bethany Beach, and Bethany Beach Boardwalk. Other great attractions worth visiting include John West Park, Delaware Seashore State Park, and Fenwick Island State Park. In addition to a great location, you are granted access to a shared outdoor pool and tennis court.

This splendid home away from home is exactly what you all need for a truly relaxing escapade. Upon entering, you will discover a welcoming living room with vaulted ceilings and plenty of light. The extensive sofa offers a comfortable spot to spread out comfortably and stream fun movies and shows on the smart TV with cable and streaming. The nearby gas fireplace will keep you nice and warm if you are visiting during the colder months. Attached to the living room is a screened porch with beautiful views of the golf course, ceiling fans, a dining area, and plenty of other seating options. From here, you can access the golf course-front deck with another dining area. Back inside, you have the kitchen and dining area to the left of the living room. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the essentials to prepare exquisite homemade meals. Coffee enthusiasts will find a nice coffee corner with drip and Keurig coffee makers. Planning on extending your stay? The home enjoys a dedicated laundry room with a washer/dryer. Additional perks include high-speed WiFi, a gas grill, and central AC.

All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
Effective January 1, 2024, guest amenity passes will be provided at no additional charge. Fees still apply for golfing. The passes must be picked up and returned to the Vacasa local office and a fee of $50.00 for each lost/unreturned pass will be assessed.
Cable is available.
Streaming is available only with the guests' own accounts.
Guests may reserve tee times for the on-site public golf course at the pro shop.
Delaware regulations require all guests sign a lease agreement within 10 days of booking. A lease agreement will be sent within 24 hours of booking and an electronic signature is required before final check-in information is made available.

Overall good stay , but there was tons of flies and ants and some spiders even in the showers !!. And the trash bins were full when we arrived! But other than that the place was good .

Great location, listing is outdated

Salt Pond amenities were great for our family with kids under the age of 8. Off season access to the beach is excellent. The house is sturdy and clean but could use a little TLC. There is only 1 TV which does not include cable, only streaming. Several items were inaccurate per the listing that caused some issues for food planning (no coffee maker, no gas grill, garage only opened manually to access bike storage). There really is no guide to the house other than wifi info. Some additional information about Salt Pond (pool hours, rules) would be helpful. It's a good house overall.

In Love With This Space!

The layout is absolutely gorgeous! I've been staying in vacasa rentals while I was buying a home in delaware, then needed a place to stay while I'm having that home renovated, and I got to stay in this wonderful abode on Walkabout Road... all the neighbors are super nice, the morning and afternoon and evening Walkers encourage you to join in with them and stroll the neighborhood, you can sit on the back porch or on the back deck and watch people golfing which is completely entertaining, I got a kick out of a few of the golfers. The Hockers grocery store is literally right around the corner, it's like a 6 minute walk or a one and a half minute car ride. Such a delightful spot, I would recommend it to anybody that wants to enjoy a lovely open floor plan with high ceilings and access to everything that Bethany Beach has to offer. 10/10!

Disappointed with NO response by Vacasa to our requests.

We notified Vacasa (the rental management company) repeatedly that there was an issue with the Queen Size mattress in the small guest bedroom. The mattress has significant wear and tear, with a deep indentation, that provided little or no support causing significant pain and discomfort to our guests. Vacasa failed to provide a remedy by stating they were unable to contact the owners during our entire one week stay concerning replacing the worn mattress and they failed to provide a board to reinforce the aging mattress. Two days after being reported, Vacasa did not send someone to at least inspect the worn mattress – a situation that was totally unacceptable and needed immediate attention. However, Vacasa did respond in a timely manner and promptly sent a contractor when leaking water was found in the cabinet under the sink. If the situation remained unresolved it would/could have resulted in property damage to the owners property.

Comfortable space

The screened in deck was our favorite space to be in during our stay. Great place for any meal, late night game nights, or even early coffee. More than enough space for all seven of us to be and not be over crowded. Highly recommended!

Lovely home and excellent amenities, but be aware of WiFi and deferred maintenance issues

Large home and the community amenities are outstanding! Fabulous pool, golf course, and pickleball courts. Main issue was that the WiFi did not work well so cell service was awful. Had to stand outside to get a connection. Also, we encourage the owners to address deferred maintenance (no handle on microwave, light bulbs out everywhere, non-functioning garbage disposal, garbage pile up of weeks that we had to take out - luckily the neighbors told us when to take it out, as there were no details). The owners kindly provide two amenity passes. Golf is a separate fee, and well worth it for the fun course! Overall, we would stay here again. We suggest that the owners create an information list that includes the garbage pickup day (Monday) as well as other details about the home and community.
