Get ready to love this cozy, one-story home, located in a beautiful community with an 18-hole, par-61 golf course and only about three miles from the beach. Salt Pond's many amenities are a short walk from the house and include a community center with indoor and outdoor swimming pools and a hot tub (depending on the season), a fitness center, tennis, pickleball, basketball, sandlot volleyball, and more. Nearby is a launching area for small boats to access the Salt Pond and the network of canals that connect to the neighboring inlets and eventually to the ocean. Take a stroll along the tree-lined streets in the community or hike/bike/run along the nearby trails. The golf pro shop and grocery store are an easy five-minute walk, and the Delaware Seashore State Park is a five-minute drive.
The house is spacious throughout, with hardwood floors. The family room has vaulted ceilings and plenty of seating space under the fan. Relax watching cable TV or pop a movie into the DVD player on either of the two TVs. If you prefer to entertain elsewhere, the three-season porch offers a pleasant seating space for lively discussions or reading under the fan. The backyard has a patio with a gas grill and plenty of room for the kids to run and play. Remote workers will appreciate the desk area in the living room and free WiFi.
All of the bedrooms have fans and also mini lights over the beds to allow for easy reading. The master bedroom has a private bathroom, while the two other bedrooms share a bathroom. There is also a powder room adjacent to the family room and a newly rebuilt outdoor shower.
The kitchen is large and well-equipped. With early-day sun and a pleasant view of trees and the cul-de-sac, the kitchen is a nice place to be, whether youâre preparing or enjoying a meal. With seating at the table and the bar counters, the kitchen is big enough for large groups and serves as a great place to entertain.
Things to Know
âą Many renovations and other improvements to the house were completed in early 2025, including:
o New flooring throughout the entire house.
o Improved lighting in great room and both full bathrooms, as well as mini lights over each bed for easy night-time reading.
o New furniture in the family room.
o New blinds in kitchen, family room, and master bedroom.
o Newly-rebuilt outdoor shower
o New paint, both inside the house and outside
âą Check-in time: 4:00 p.m.
âą Check-out time: 10:00 a.m.
âą All guests shall abide by Vacasaâs good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
âą No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
âą Effective January 1, 2024, guest amenity passes will be provided at no additional charge. Fees still apply for golfing. The passes must be picked up and returned to the Vacasa local office, and a fee of $50.00 for each lost/unreturned pass will be assessed.
âą Guests must use personal logins for streaming services.
âą The gas fireplace has been turned off.
âą Delaware regulations require all guests to sign a lease agreement within 10 days of booking. A lease agreement will be sent within 24 hours of booking, and an electronic signature is required before final check-in information is made available.
