Rudder's Retreat: Walk to A&M, Comfy King Bed

Rudder's Retreat is a boutique Air BnB, first floor, 1 bedroom apartment just steps away from Northgate/Campus...so close you can see Rudder Tower from the sidewalk out front. The living room boasts comfortable bunk beds for guests 3 and 4 & with the pull-out sofa, there is room for more. With a King bed in the bedroom and a full-sized eat-in kitchen, this place has everything you need for a fun, comfortable, convenient stay in Aggieland. Reserved parking. Laundry facility available on site.

This apartment is carved out of a historic home just off campus and behind Northgate. The wood floors and clapboard walls give a comfortable vibe you will not want to leave. Speaking of comfort...the bed, the couch, and even the bunk are top notch.

Guests have access to entire 1 bedroom apartment. Includes living area, kitchen and full bathroom.

We are very experienced hosts with decades in Aggieland...five decades to be exact. We respond very quickly to guests and have hosted well over 500 stays.

Have you seen College Main?...with the old world street lamps walking you all the way into Northgate/Campus. This is where you want to be for Games, Graduations, or any trip to Bryan/College Station. 1.2 miles to Kyle Field

Walk...yes, I said walk...to campus. Or an easy drive to anywhere in Bryan/College Station.

Walking distance to Texas A&M and Northgate.

Perfect stay near A&M

Needed to be in town for week for work and this turned out to be a perfect place to stay. Convenient to A&M and all the things College Station offers. Love the character of this VRBO and it was nice and cozy.

Senior Aggie was getting engaged!!! Needed more homey than hotel for the weekend. Perfect for the four of us. Bed was superb! Kids liked the bunks. Neighbors above us were up and footsteps/creaking could be heard at weird times all throughout both nights. But not heard in bedroom. Weird though.

Great location with lots of beds

We came for a campus visit for our H.S. senior. We were a party of four, but wanted several beds for a brother and sister. Lots of space and lots of bed options. The location is great! A short walk from University Dr. and the Northgate area. A nice park is just down the street. I took our dog there several times a day. The Hosts were great at communication and providing for all our needs. We will try and stay again the next time we visit Aggieland. -T.C. class of '96

I became an Air Force Officer and we raised our 5 kids while moving around the country/world. We settled back in Bryan just over 5 years ago and started as AirBnB Superhosts. We like to consider ourselves as “inn keepers” and do everything we can to take great care of our guests. To date, we've hosted over 1,700 guests. Relationships are the best part of AirBnB. Our properties are dedicated to guest enjoyment, with huge TVs, great beds, and interesting design.
