The house was spotless and the furnishings in good condition. The pool was not available because well, it was March after all and there is COVID-19 to consider. I am sure it is well appreciated during the summer. It is on a corner and there is a lot of traffic noise during the day. It is very quiet at night. The house was kind of sterile, which may be because of COVID-19 precautions (a good move), but there was no place where books, puzzles, games, DVDs and the like would be stored during more normal times. The check-in process seems a bit out-dated in that you have to go to an office to pick up the keys. All of the other properties we have rented in the past few years have had electronic locks and the code is given to the renter just before the stay commences. The key system did cause a bit of a problem as the lock did not function smoothly, causing the key to get stuck at one point. Someone did come out to lubricate it. We also had a problem getting internet access as both the network and passcode listed in the book were inaccurate. The property manager helped us resolve that issue pretty quickly. However, it would not only be helpful to have correct WiFi access information in the book, but there is really no information in the house about things such as operating the appliances, the thermostat, the TVs and so forth. The information provided in terms of the rules of the house and Rehoboth was indeed helpful and adding things about how to operate the heating system (explain which is zone 1 and which zone 2), TVs (there are so many different systems), and appliances would be a functional addition. Overall a nice stay in a house that could be a five star rental with a few changes.
