Welcome to the Swiss Mansion in Big Bear Lake, CA! Formerly Switzerland Haus Bed and Breakfast Inn, this historic retreat has plenty of space for you and your loved ones during any season!



The Space:

Most notable in winter is the backyard with a private entrance that leads directly to the ski resort, but with 6 bedrooms with several private balconies and bathrooms, and a large outdoor area, this makes for a spectacular private lodge for large groups anytime!

Enter the standout property from the front where you have ample parking or make your way in through the private backyard entrance directly across from Snow Summit Ski Resort. The backdoor leads you into a mudroom, complete with bench for removing all your gear! The front door leads into an entry way with a peaceful study on one side, former Inn keepers’ quarters on the other, and stairs and kitchen just before the living room and dining area.



The cozy kitchen is complete with updated appliances and an opening into the living room to keep the snacks and drinks flowing while the whole crew hangs out.



The living room has a large sofa, love seat, and lounge chairs around a wood-burning fireplace and smart TV. Perfect for entertainment, the dining area is just off the living room with a huge 10-person dining table and plenty of natural light from the backyard.



The first floor also includes a full laundry room with washer, dryer, and sink.



Private access to the 2nd floor grand suite is just off the mudroom. Enter an over 700 sq ft private room complete with oversized windows for spectacular mountain views (watch the skiers in wintertime!), personal fireplace, huge bathroom with dual sinks, soaking tub and separate walk-in shower, and private balcony.



4 additional 2nd floor bedrooms each include direct access to a personal bathroom, balcony access, and personal TV.



1 bedroom on the 1st floor (formerly Inn keepers’ quarters) with direct access to bathroom and personal TV.



The fully enclosed backyard is towards the south, receiving plenty of sunlight with adequate tree cover for shade. The backyard has private access to enter from the ski resorts, ample space, and includes a loveseat swing.
