Amazing stay

This was a first for us staying in a gorgeous villa. Beautifully designed, great quiet location. It had everything to offer a family of four. Our only regret, we wished we had come sooner ( especially when our older sons were younger ) the size, layout and everything we needed was included. Would definitely recommend ( I already have!) it was so nice to not stay in a busy crowded area which we have done previously. Whilst location to parks when you stay centrally is easier if not hectic, it was so nice to drive away knowing you are coming back to peace and quiet and its not too far either so well worth it. Great restaurants, supermarkets and things to do in the area. I think I was the resident regular at the local Publix! Another little favourite ( amongst so many ) was the step to get into the biggest bed I have ever slept in. Amazing!! Thanks again for a wonderful stay :-)

Absolutely amazing villa - home from home!

From the moment we decided to rent Florida Getaway, our hosts were so accommodating and friendly - answered all our questions promptly, suggested restaurants when we asked - the villa was absolutely gorgeous and spotless and when we arrived, there was a gorgeous fruit, flower and Prosecco basket to welcome us! We have never experienced such a thoughtful and beautiful gesture from any other villas we have rented. Everything was accommodated for - we had an absolutely lovely time and wouldn’t hesitate to go back! Highly highly recommend! Xx

Amazing vacation home

We loved our time here! We spent 4 days at parks (which were all relatively close) and had 3 rest days. The kids LOVED the pool! We enjoyed that the grocery store was near by (and so was Starbucks). There are so many wonderful features about this rental - the kitchen was well equipped, the furniture was modern and comfortable, the games room was a really great feature also. We were so comfortable and will definitely be back!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay—this home is cozy, comfortable, and feels like a home away from home. We didn't want to leave! The hosts are incredibly accommodating and truly go above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The pool was perfect—such a great temperature and ideal for relaxing any time of day. The beds were super cozy, and every detail in the space was thoughtfully set up for comfort. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Florida!

Villa was very easy to find, and a lovely temporary home. Plenty of room for 2 families. Seating area outside was where we spent most of our time. Very quiet and private out the back. Games in the garage if you wanted to use them. Contacted the hosts a couple of times and they were very quick to reply. I would definitely stay again.

Wonderful villa in fantastic location

I knew before we arrived that this villa would exceed expectations, it was amazing inside and out! It was in a perfect location at Calabay Parc, super Walmart close by and various other shops/eating places. The rooms were all well appointed and the little steps for the master bed were so cute. Plenty space for the six of us to not feel cramped and under each others feet. The kids all loved the games room. We all loved the heated pool and chilled out on the seats by the pool. Julie and Jon are amazing hosts and nothing is too much trouble for them. When we come back to Florida this will be our first stop. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A real home away from home

We all loved the Villa! We stayed for 30 nights and it just felt strange to go back home. We wanted a quit area, to relax after busy park days, and the area was perfect. Skmetines we heard some neighbours having fun in the pool, but most of the time it was quit. Everything was there. The pool was amazing. Every free moment, the kids were in it. They loved that there was a deeper part, so they can do a handstand. Personally I loved the temperature of the water, not to cold, but also not hot, so perfect to cool of after the very hot days in the parks or just as a cooling break on a relaxing day in the sun. There were plenty towels to use, and with the washer/dryer we never run out of clean ones. We also booked a halfway cleaning, which was very nice, coming back from the parks and everything lookes brand new again. The kids loved the gameroom also, the only "sad" thing was that there was no AC there. It was around 100 degrees everyday, so the garage (gameroom) was just to hot to stay in for a long time. The communication with the owners was fantastic. We could ask everything and always got a fast answer. It gave us a trusted feeling. We definitly want to come back someday! If I need to pick anything that we would change or missed... I would say a sunbed outside (because I like to lay down on my belly in the sun) and something to put an umbrella in (so I can put my head in the shadow and the rest in the sun. The kitchen was very complete, the only thing we personally missed was an airfryer. The days we were back early in the villa, we cooked, but the oven took a lot of time (nuggets and fries). Overall a 10+ experience!

The house was beautiful and had everything you could imagine to make your stay perfect. It was immaculate and comfortable. All kinds of extra’s such as cooler bags, umbrella’s, Disney character rain ponchos. The area was handy to tourist attractions and felt very safe. The beds were so comfortable and we had everything we needed. We would highly recommend and will definitely come back. My daughter who was with us was already asking for contact info and shared with friends for possible future visit!

Magical

The Villa is spacious, well-maintained, and felt like a true home away from home with plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax. The beds were comfortable the bathrooms were clean and modern like the whole villa and the games room a huge hit with my kids due to plenty of choice with basketball-air hockey & pool and the board games. The pool area – beautifully maintained, private, and perfect for both relaxing and fun family time quickly became one of our favourite spots. The location is a huge plus too. Everything is near by shops, restaurants and the parks not even half a hour away. Perfect. Julie and Jon the perfect hosts too, always on hand if needed with quick replies and I couldn’t recommend the Villa high enough. We already can’t wait to return!

Florida retreat

This is a home away from home. Very well appointed with pretty much anything you'd need. Nice new washer with dryer, new refrigerator and new hand held shower heads in the 2 master bedrooms. Skeeball has been added to the games in the garage. There's a pool handle also that makes getting in and out of the pool much easier. Owners act immediately if called / emailed for any issue that might come up. This is our second year here and hope to return again.

Fantastic stay at Calabay Hideaway

We have just returned from a 16 night stay at Calabay Hideaway and can easily say this is the nicest villa we have stayed in. Property was spotlessly clean and had everything you could need on a holiday. Beds were super comfy and my son wants us to buy him a new mattress just like he had on holiday. Location was fabulous. Disney parks could be reached by either the I4 or US192. Travel time was approx 25 minutes. Hosts were really attentive and answered any queries we had before travelling and checked with us by email on arrival to make sure we had everything we needed. The villas pool got the sunshine from early in the morning which was great as we could sunbathe while waiting on our teenage son getting out of bed. Looking forward to another visit hopefully in the near future.

You’re missing out!

Your own private oasis in the sunshine, complete with a pool? Yes, please! As a family that’s spread across the country, we chose a family vacay at Calabay Hideaway paired with a first-time trip to Disney for our kiddos. The two large primary bedrooms were perfection for grandparents and parents, while the kiddos enjoyed their own space (especially our Star Wars fan, who had the Star Wars bedroom to himself!). With full days at Disney and a beach day trip to the Gulf coast on our agenda, we looked forward to coming back to relax beside (and in) the pool and burn off energy in the well-stocked games room. Can’t recommend Calabay Hideaway enough!

Paradise home from home

This is our 2nd visit to this particular house in Calabay parc. It was perfect the 1st time (although a little dated) , which led us to a 2nd visit. It did not disappoint. Aside, from the owners being theme park nerds, like ourselves , along with being wonderful, friendly and accommodating people, the house is a combination of sheer bliss and contentment. It is the perfect spot for your home away from home holiday. We would definitely come back for a 3rd, 4th and maybe 5th visit…and more. We would highly recommend this fabulous home for any length of time , whether it’s 1 week or 1 month.

We got the itch early on. You can call it mouse fever, if you will. For over a decade, often two or three times a year, we have visited the region of Walt Disney World. Our kids were young and we would make the trek down from Canada for the picturesque and often snowy drive to the Sunshine State. We quickly became hooked.

Now, here we are, just two empty nester Canadians, sharing our love and passion for Florida. We purchased this lovely home (formerly TLC Villa) and made an ode to carry on a beautiful tradition that was already created.

When we aren’t full time real estate agents in Canada, this place is our true getaway. It allows us the time to kick back by the pool and enjoy some silence. Go enjoy a few rounds of golf and humble ourselves by not being professional PGA players. A quick trip to the coast to get our fix of sand and salt air. This home was meant for family and friends to have a place to visit, laugh and create memories.

We now want to welcome you to our hideaway and create memories for yourselves. And we do hope, you can make Calabay Getaway your forever place to escape to.
