Sand Dollar #4: Upstairs Canalfront & Pet Friendly with Pool by the Beach!

Sand Dollar unit #4 is part of a stunning four-unit waterfront canal property with shared pool and dock, right across the street from the beach! This PET-FRIENDLY upper-level two-bedroom unit features King beds plus queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room. Two bathrooms, one with bath and shower combo, the other with a walk-in shower, kitchen fully stocked with plateware and amenities, as well as a private patio.

Watch the sunrise with your cup of coffee from the poolside patio, fish from the dock on the canal, or lay out by the pool (shared among the four units on this beach property.

Have a large gathering coming up? This property can be rented as a complex! FOUR units with a total of six bedrooms and six bathrooms allowing a max occupancy of 18.

A written request at the time of booking is required to bring any animal, including pets, emotional support animals, and service animals. A non-refundable $200 fee applies for pets and emotional support animals, added to your booking total, with applicable taxes when we receive your Official Animal Request to our email. Additional charges will be added for each unauthorized animal if animals are brought without permission.

Please consider Travel Insurance for unexpected situations preventing travel. Minimum age to rent is 25 years old. During high season we rent from Saturday - Saturday (from Christmas to Easter). This unit has a dynamic price plan, prices may vary from day to day.

Loved relaxing by the heated pool overlooking the canal and watching sunsets from our deck. The beach was just a short walk across the street and we brought our bikes so could bike everywhere and avoid the traffic. Also, The owner was very attentive at taking care of any issues or needs that came up.

Everything was great. I wish they would have had more wash cloths. I went out and bought more because there was only 2 per bathroom. Enjoyed the pool area and apartment. Talking about bringing kids and grandkids in future.

The pool on the canal was breathtaking every night with all the lights glistening on the water. In the morning I sat on the front deck with my coffee and watched the waves on the Gulf of Mexico. We appreciated the initial stocking of supplies, pool towels, beach chairs, umbrella, and wagon. We enjoyedMorning coffee on the patio overlooking the canal and watching the sunrise and the evening sunset on the back patio. The short walk to the beach is convenient. The property management office was helpful, checked in to see if our stay was going well. It’s also nice to see the owner on the property checking, attending to any necessary business.

Nice Setup

The property was very clean and well represented. We had the complex to ourselves for a few nights which was really nice, it started to fill in toward the weekend and did feel a bit busy. I don't think I would have liked to have been on the first floor with other people staying there. The pool is awesome, well maintained and a great temperature. Being on the canal was nice, however I would have traded it to be on the beach instead seeing as my stepson didn't use it for fishing as much as I thought he would. Getting to the beach is a bit of a hike. You have to go down a block either way to get access and then the beach itself is quite the distance to the water. Construction around the property was expected, but did make it seem less "vacationey". Overall good, but for a short stay would opt to pay more for a spot directly on the sand.

Our 2 bed /2 bath unit was was bright, clean and spacious, with comfy king beds & roomy dressers/closets, and a kitchen with all the necessities to prepare meals. Loved our morning coffee on the sunny deck , afternoons in & around the heated pool, walks on the beach (across the street), and cocktail hour sunsets. A plus was the owner's in-person attentiveness when needed.
