Hi Tania - How unfortunate for you that you had such an unpleasant stay that you feel it warranted a two-star review. Fortunately for me, potential guests will read my other reviews and clearly see that this is a "you" problem. Your review is unfair, unkind untrue and honestly, defamation. You chose to visit my property the week following two hurricanes that left an impact on not only Ocala, but most of the state of Florida. We were very fortunate that the only impact we suffered was intermittent loss of internet services and a disruption in lawn care because lawn workers were busy cleaning an overwhelm of down trees and debris across the area. Your lack of compassion and understanding to the state-wide situation is very unkind. Additionally, you state that communication from me was not forthcoming - this is a clear lie as a review of our communications will show that I sent you several messages explaining and apologizing for the situation, which you chose to ignore. Lastly, there is ONE vacant property next door. A condemned property is a legal statement that refers to a property that has been officially declared by the city as unsafe or unfit. That is not the case here (feel free to call the city building department to verify), and to make a claim that is legally incorrect is at the very least unethical.
