For us, this was a perfect location after we visited Yellowstone. A great place to relax with beautiful front porch views. It gave us the opportunity to visit nearby Cody and re-enter Yellowstone.

Our group of 4 had an amazing stay at the Dunton Ranch! We enjoyed gorgeous sunrises and the sound of Elk bugling from a field across the road each morning. Truly a space to disconnect and enjoy God's beauty! Tammie was an amazing hostess, and the home was stocked with literally everything that we needed to enjoy a home away from home vacation! We couldn't be more pleased with our stay and look forward to returning soon.

Beautiful property within 45 minutes from Yellowstone. Home was clean and well stocked. They have two horses, Tank and Cash on the property who are sweethearts. Tammie and Nick were very accommodating.

Home away from home

This is a very nice place to stay on the east side of Yellowstone, very easy access off the main highway. The home was very comfortable and clean, host was very nice in providing information about the area and home before arrival. Was a great place for our family trip to Yellowstone.

Great stay, wonderful property

We had a great three nights at this property. House was nice and cozy, everything we would need. Eggs were a great touch. Kids loved to visit the horses.

Beautiful, relaxing spot and the most gorgeous drive into Yellowstone. We arrived after dark and we awoke to the most beautiful views. The house has all the kitchen equipment you need. We just adored this place! My kids especially loved the horses and I loved the back yard swing.

Yellowstone vacation

Awesome stay. Very picturesque setting. Very close to Yellowstone. Very clean, western decor with many amenities to make your stay pleasurable. Hosts left us farm fresh eggs and snacks. Check in and out was very easy. Definitely recommend!

Great place in the country

Clean, comfortable place for the family. Great base for Yellowstone and to see Cody. Beautiful views from the front porch. I reccomend this home. Beds are comfortable. It has good family space. Quiet.

Tammie is a wonderful host! She reached out before our journey started, asked for the time of arrival and did everything possible to make our stay comfortable separate thank you for the "welcome basket".She provided timely check in and check out instructions. She was accessible and answered all our questions. It was a pleasure to stay in her lovely house!

Home away from home!

This property and location was exactly as advertised. My wife and I absolutely loved our stay and fully intend on staying here again. Tammie was a fantastic host all the way down to having farm fresh eggs in the refrigerator! 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Wonderful place! Hosts went above and beyond for us. Our car broke down in Yellowstone, and we had the wrecker drop us off on the way past the cabin. We were without a car and Nick brought us to the airport to rent a car. Not just an amazing place to stay but great hosts as well. Thank you so much for all your help!

A Peaceful Place to Stay

This property was very a peaceful little place in the country a nice distance from Cody and Yellowstone! Our host, Tammie, was quick to respond to anything we needed and kindly left us fresh eggs from her chickens! The house itself was comfortable and well stocked. The horse and the long horned steer in the pasture outside were an added fun bonus! Would definitely stay again!

Excellent View and Property

This is a very quiet relaxing home with a view to match. The hosts were fantastic. We were greated with fresh eggs in the refrigerator and a very clean house. Everything we needed was available. Great location close to the East Entrance and Cody. We will definitely suggest this property to anyone coming to the Yellowstone/Cody area.

Perfect Spot for a Get Away

Everything was perfect! My husband & I were 1st time Yellowstoners, & this property was a home away from home. Tammie had everything you could need, fresh eggs, and a special Anniversary treat set out for us! We felt spoiled from the start. We would have loved to lounge & watch the horses & take in the beautiful views all day, but Yellowstone beckoned! We would definitely stay at this property again!

Beat week ever

This was the best VRBO house I have ever rented. The host was fantastic and she had added so many thoughtful amenities. Like salsa and chips, bananas, and our favorite the fresh eggs plus many more. I almost forgot the laundry detergent and fabric softener. The location is perfect we spent early mornings sitting outside looking at our surroundings while drinking our coffee. Best vacation ever. If you are going to be in Cody this is the best place to stay its only 15 or so minutes away and 30 to the Park. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location

We wanted something close to Yellowstone and while the drive is a little extra, anything affordable outside of the park will be more miles. However, the drive is beautiful and it's so close to Cody, Chief Joseph Scenic Byway and further north, the start of the Beartooth Hwy. The hosts have excellent customer service and have put great thought into what is provided in the home. The only suggestion I have is a nightlight for the bathroom. The perfect Wyoming night sky is so dark (love it) but a night light would be great!

You will not be disappointed

We absolutely loved everything about our stay at the Dunton Ranch. The location is perfect proximity to the East entrance of Yellowstone. It’s a lovely, secluded area but also close enough to all of the amenities of Cody. We enjoyed having our morning coffee in the backyard enjoying the scenery and watching the horses graze. The home was clean and accommodating. Tammie was a fantastic host and we really appreciated the thought that went into the small details. She even went as far as to leave bottled water and fresh eggs from her chickens in the fridge :) You will not be disappointed by booking the Dunton Ranch and we will definitely be back!

Wonderful Stay

My family, wife,daughter, son-in-law, and two grandchildren had a delightful stay at Dutson Ranch. Tammie, one of the property owners made my granddaughters stay by allowing her to ride one of their horses. Amenities were good and the treats left by Tammie were appreciated. Location was beautiful,but expect a long day if driving to Yellowstone. That ride was incredible also. Cody, nearby was fun and my daughters family got a chance to do river rafting there. I would be remiss to mention that I wished I had more time there just to sit and enjoy the scenery. I would not hesitate to stay there again if and when heading into the area. Highly Recommended.

Yellowstone Trip

Where do I start!!! Drove to the Dutton Ranch from Southeast Kansas.. Upon arrive the house overlooks the most beautiful mountain ridge line, with the sounds of the Shoshone River flowing in the distance. We spent many an hour on the front deck, seeing ground to ground double rainbows, and the super moon accending over the mountains, into the stars....Enjoyed mother nature at her finest!! Tammie is an amazing host. We were welcomes by fresh flowers and a cake for our 15th Wedding Anniversery. She also placed eggs from her chicken in the refrigerator for us. The house is extremely well stocked with everthing you will need and spotless. If you think you might need it, Tammie has provided it. I, way over packed for this trip. Ive been a travel ICU nurse for 5 years and have spent plenty of time in vacation rentals....this one is by far the best, most well furnished Ive stayed in. The location is smack dab were you want to be for day trips into Yellowstone, and nights in Cody. There are also Sky businesses close by for winter time activitiest. Thank you Tammie for an amazing stay, and we loved being able to pet and love on the horse. All our friends want to know where we stayed, I will be sending them your way! Thank you again. It was amazing

Cozy home surrounded by grassy fields and beautiful rock formations. Very quiet, comfortable, with a well stocked kitchen. We would stay there again if in that area.
