New Construction! Stay in sustainable style in this unique, private beachfront Seagull SHIPPING CONTAINER home showcasing unobstructed ocean views on Sargent Beach. Each of the 3 Containers has its own bedroom, bathroom, and shower. The U-shaped design provides an expansive deck and privacy for your guests. The larger Container also has a kitchen and small living area. 2 of the Containers have bedrooms that directly face the ocean. A large portion of the deck is covered when you need a break from the heat. Table and swing below are a great spot to relax after walking to and from what is basically your own private beach. The Master Container houses the efficient kitchen and living area plus Master Bedroom with Queen bed and ensuite bathroom with shower enclosure. The Right Container and Left Container each have their own entrance from the deck, Queen bed, and ensuite bathroom with shower. Grill on the deck, fish from the ocean, work on your tan, look at the stars and more. Want to venture into town? Restaurants/Bars and shopping in close proximity with even more choices nearby in Lake Jackson and Bay City. Perfect for guests ranging from weekenders to snowbirds.

Great place for a guys get away. The separate sleeping areas were good for us guys to be together, then go back to own quiet areas. Walking distance to the beach was great and caught more fish than we could keep track of.

We absolutely loved every minute of our stay at Seagull Shipping Home! You truly can’t beat the location—it was perfect in every way. Each container is so creatively designed, cozy, and full of character. The outdoor spaces were wonderful and gave us plenty of room to relax and enjoy time together. We even had “church” as a family on the large deck, which made the stay even more special.The bathrooms were spotless, and the small laundry area was such a thoughtful touch after long days at the beach. This place has everything you need and more. We can’t wait to come back and stay again very soon!

Hosts were so nice!! The places was absolutely beautiful and was perfect if you want to be able to quickly walk to and from the beach all day. The whole time we were there there were only 2 other people, sp we practically had the whole beach to ourselves. Also 2 of the beds are right uo against the windo so you can fall asleep watching the stars and wake up to a beautiful view of the ocean.

Great spot right on the beach

We got to stay here a couple of weeks after the hurricane. It looked like Sargent was hit very hard with many still in the middle of cleanup. The property was in great condition and clean! Our family fished right on the beach and caught so many crabs too! We will def book again.

Weekend Get Away

Awesome experience. Very unique setup with the shipping containers. Great view of the beach. Everything on the property was exactly as described in description. Jamie and Don had the best communication by far of any VRBO host I’ve worked with. Extremely communicative and hospitable.

Container of Fun

We have been watching this new build for a while and when we finally got the chance to book it we were excited to see how this container home went together. Its perfect for a rental. You could easily take three couples, or your entire family. Each container has its own bathroom, bed, and other amenities. Everything is fresh and clean. We really enjoyed the large deck up top to hang out on and listen to the Gulf. Very large concrete area below with plenty of room to park a boat, truck, and toys. Plenty of hose bibs to wash down after the beach or bay. Plenty of plugs for whatever you need. We took our pellet grille and set up a portable outdoor kitchen by the stairs, it was perfect. Basically no neighbors to either side which is nice. Air conditioners were cold and beds were very comfortable. We will be booking again in the near future. The property owner communication was also better than any we have had in the past. They care about your stay.

I had the idea to build a shipping container home in 2018 and drove most of the Texas Gulf Coast looking for the perfect spot. I like to fish, spend time with my grandchildren, and meet new people. My wife Jamie and I are new to hosting and hope you enjoy your stay at our one-of-a-kind oceanfront shipping container home.

There is something special about this area of the beach and the people of Sargent. You feel like you have your own private beach away from the crowd where you can truly relax. It's also nearby some of the best fishing in Texas.

Shipping Container homes like mine are extremely durable which is important in a beachfront property. The U-shape design of our property allows for an expansive deck and a stunning Gulf view.
