There are also spots on the rugged rocky shoreline where you can find a more private experience bathing. You can also spend your days exploring the other local beaches and beach bars such as Lovrecina, Trstena, Prje, and the world-famous Zlatni Rat beach in Bol is a 45-minute taxi/car ride away. Brac is also a short 50-minute ferry ride across the channel to the mainland port of Split, where you can take a day trip to wander through Diocletian’s Palace or visit the neighboring towns of Trogir and Omis.

In the evenings, you can eat some of the best fish dishes in all of Croatia in the local Konobas (Taverns), or you can make your own dinner and dine on the apartment terrace, with a glass of local Posip (white wine) or Plavac Mali (red wine) while watching the golden sunset over the sea.
After dinner, take a short 10-minute walk as you head down past the Church of St. John the Baptist, through the old village cobblestone street, and down to the harbor promenade, where the nightlife comes alive in the Summer with live music on the waterfront during the weekends.
