Great neighborhood for taking walks. Two blocks to I-40 and I-27. Beautiful older neighborhood.

Our stay at The Craftsman was excellent. The house was clean, the beds were soft, and the space was large enough to host all 14 of us! The kitchen was a joy to work in with all the tools we needed to make a beautiful family feast for the holidays. I highly recommend this get-a-way location for family gatherings, anytime of the year!
It's an older home with lots of character, which I love
The floors a squicky, but itsdue the age of the house.
Communication to check in was difficult. Links to check in was not working and it took a while before we finally got in.
The house is absolutely beautiful. Everything we needed was in this house. My family and friends came from all over to see my daughter graduate from Texas Tech and this house was absolutely perfect, beds were so comfortable and the bathrooms were amazing. Donât hesitate to stay here I promise you will love it!
Our stay in Amarillo was good. The keypad to access the property didn't work as described. Fortunately there were 2 front doors and one of them was unlocked. The door actually wouldn't lock at all, which the property manager handled quickly. Maintenance came over and fixed it.The house slept the number stated and it was well supplied with all necessities, including coffee & bath towels. It was clean and spacious. The stay gets a 0 stars because we were also scheduled to stay at this house 2 weeks following our initial stay. We were a group of Boy Scouts and leaders traveling to New Mexico. We were hiking in the mountains with no access to technology for 11 days. Upon gaining email access on the morning of the 7/16, the same day that we were scheduled to check-in to the house, I saw an email from VRBO changing our reservation to 7/21, without communication. I reached out to the property manager who didn't immediately respond. I accessed the booking engine and saw that the home was now booked for a multi-day stay. That left 5 adult leaders and 13 scouts with no place to stay in Amarillo (with 4 hrs notice). There was no explanation provided by the manager until the following day, which was unhelpful. It noted something about a new computer system that allowed the property to be overbooked. I do not believe the story. It was very convenient for the owner that our 1-day stay was rebooked to a day that obviously wouldn't work, and the multi-day reservation was kept. Shady.
We were in town for a wedding. The location was great. Easy access to the freeway. Close proximity to everything we needed to do. The place was great, plenty of room, nobody was on top of anyone.
Home was great for what we needed space wise, however the kitchen sink handle was broken, the door fell off the gas grill, nail sticking up out of the floor in hallway by downstairs bathroom caught my husbands heel and ripped it open, a piece of cookie was left on the top of the tv amour in downstairs bedroom, and o left in the
The home had everything we needed. It was spacious and comfortable for 2 big families. The property was clean and seemed very well maintained. We came to Amarillo for a wedding and weâre glad we found this gem. The home was beautiful and in a cute quiet neighborhood.

Great communication from hosts
Great property! We arrived for check-in and the property had not been cleaned from the last guest--just a scheduling mistake from the housecleaners--but the problem was resolved completely and promptly by the hosts, who relocated us to a nearby property for the evening. Both properties were lovely and we were so grateful for the quick resolution.
We had our entire family of 7 adults and 8 children stay for my nieces wedding. The place was spacious, clean and fit our needs
Wonderfully. The only drawback was communication with the host. They didnât respond quickly to messages through VRBO, but responded to phone calls.
We chose this wonderful house for a family get-together. 11 people in total, 5 adults and 6 children. The house is lovely. It is over 100 years old, but well maintained and updated. Plenty of rooms and comfortable beds throughout the house, a "toy" closet for the kids, two updated bathrooms with nice features, and a very large dining room big enough for everyone. We found games to play, some DVDs, etc. The beds are large, comfy, and clean. The kitchen is immaculate and very modern with just about everything you need to cook for a large family. We did not bring any animals with us, but the property appears to be pet friendly with a nice sized yard, a kennel, and dog treats. There are TVs in just about every room. The neighborhood is quiet - we parked on the street in front of the house and had no problems. The location is pretty much central Amarillo- you can be on I40 in two minutes, or downtown just as fast. We did have a small issue with the door entry code, but the owner responded very quickly and took care of everything. My family loved the house, we had a great time. I highly recommend it, even if you dont havr a large group, theres plenty of value here for anyone looking for a nice place to relax.
We arrived at the property after an 8 hour drive and the key code didnât work. It was about 8:00pm well after ck in time. I messaged through the vrbo app, called, and sent a text. We waited with our kids and pets for almost 2 hours. I kept messaging. We finally had to leave and go to a hotel. About an hour after that someone text with a new code to try. But it was too late. Iâve requested a refund several times, but no one will respond.
