Ben is wonderful! He provides everything you need for a great stay! There is direct access to trails with no trailoring! Awesome host and nice comfortable private location!
We loved our stay! Location was easy to find. The property was private, clean, quiet & the lawn/landscaping was very well maintained. The firepit was amazing! And great access to the Windrock riding trails! 10/10 would definitely stay here again!! Thank you!!
Host was great, very informative. House was clean and well stocked. I would recommend checking in during daylight, also the gps took me past the first driveway and with it being dark that was difficult.. but otherwise everything was great. Also close to town if you need to run into town to get something but far enough away to not feel busy.
Beautiful and private property with a very nice home. Great rental for someone riding ATVs or just visiting the area which was our case. The owner was top notch in response to messages and check in and out was a breeze. This rental is highly recommended by my family!
Great clean home. Small but worked fine for us. One adult, 2 teens and a 10 yr old. Beds were comfortable and basic necessities were there.. didn't have to buy TP, dish soap..etc. always nice to have that. Used the firepit one night. Bring your own starter.. we found some dry tender and finally got it going. There was wood. Owner was responsive the entire stay even when a storm took out the power. It's VERY close to ATV trails, we only heard them when they were coming down the main road so noise was not an issue. It could use some upgrading, so don't come expecting 5 star finishes and amenities. For instance, there's no dishwasher. The drive up from town was a winding mountain road, several blind spots so drive slow and it's narrow in spots. The one lane driveway, locked with a gate, was gravel/dirt. We had a big van so we had to use the backgate to get the vehicle around because there wasn't enough space to turn around. If you're pulling a big trailer or have a low profile vehicle, I would suspect you're out of luck-check with the owner. The road to the back gate was perfect for us however. The town was run down, several places were closed and the only grocery store was an oversized Dollar General. Walmart and other stores are about 20 min away. Oh and the TV remotes were either missing batteries or they were dead. I suspect no one told the owner- he seems pretty on top of things.
The house was cute. We loved the big bathroom. The smaller bathroom tub looked dirty. The grass was a little long then someone came and mowed while we were gone. That was a little disturbing. The fridge would not keep our drinks cold. It was stuck at 57 to 58 degrees. We were good tho. We had a cooler. It was all good.
We booked late for the 4th of July long weekend. This house was farther from where we usually stay in Jacksboro/Caryville area. It was still a great location! About a 20 minute drive to Twin Cove. Great location for riding Windrock. House was clean, owners were quick to respond. We had a great time and great experience. We will be returning for a riding trip to Windrock.
Super clean! Super comfortable. The property was great inside and out. Comfy bets, great little kitchen and the back deck and fire pit was a bonus. We stayed for a football tournament and had the team over for a bbq and had the rest of the time to relax and rest between games! Ben was awesome and his communication made everything so easy for us. This is a nice hidden gem off the beating path but still so easy to get to anything around the careyville, knoxville area!
