Vous commencerez votre expérience tropicale de Mahana en ouvrant la porte d'entrée! Depuis notre condo au bord de l’océan situé au 11e étage sur 12, vous verrez des fenêtres qui vont du plancher au plafond et un mur à l’autre dans le salon. L'océan Pacifique est juste là! En y regardant de plus près, vous verrez les îles Lanai'i au sud, Molokai'i au nord, la plage au nord vers Honokowai ou au sud vers Black Rock. La véranda est entièrement frontale sur l'océan Pacifique avec accès depuis le salon et la chambre à coucher à travers de grandes portes lanai en verre coulissant de mur à mur. Dans la chambre à coucher, cela permet d'avoir une vue totale sur l'océan au réveil! Cela vous donne la vue garantie! Maintenant, la deuxième partie de l'expérience Mahana est le son! Ouvrez la porte de véranda (l'un ou l'autre ou les deux!), et entendre l'océan Pacifique embrasser la plage qui est littéralement à deux pas! Un vrai délice pour vos sens!
Bien qu'un remodelage complet ait été achevé en janvier 2011, nous apportons diverses améliorations chaque année pour le maintenir à son niveau Premium.
Il y a un sol en porcelaine dans toute l'unité avec des armoires en cerisier et en granit dans la cuisine, la salle de bain et le salon, ainsi que des lumières sur le soffite personnalisées dans la cuisine et le salon.
C'est l'une des rares stations balnéaires située sur une plage de sable fin avec vue directe sur l'océan et climatisation centrale. Les vues sont à couper le souffle, que vous soyez assis dans votre salon, mangeant un en-cas dans la cuisine, sur votre véranda privée, nageant dans l'océan, au bord de la piscine ou en vous relaxant dans le bain à remous!
Au Mahana, vous vivrez une atmosphère de complexe hôtelier haut de gamme sur la plage pittoresque de North Beach, à Ka'anapali, mais le cadre paisible de cet établissement offre une intimité sans égal. Une vue époustouflante sur l'océan Pacifique, y compris les magnifiques îles de Lanai'i au sud et Molokai'i au nord, semble vous rencontrer à la fenêtre du sol au plafond de votre salon. We have stayed at different condo's over the years looking for the perfect condo. Well.... this is it. This is the only place we will stay in Maui from this point forward. From the amazing 11th floor view, literally right on the water, to the wonderful beach immediately to the left of our building (beach is great for snorkeling and we even saw sea turtles knee deep at the waters edge) to the pool area with gas BBQ's. If you enjoy walking or running, there is a one mile boardwalk starting at our condo building and running along the ocean front. The wonderful restaurant, Dukes, is just a two minute walk away. Another two minute walk from the condo is the Honoapiilani Food Truck Park. The condo itself was very clean upon arrival and had all the essentials we needed, from a fully stocked kitchen to beach towels, beach chairs and umbrella and an ice chest. Very comfortable king size bed and air conditioning. The grounds at the Mahana are just beautiful as well. This condo suited us perfectly and again this will be our "go to" place when we return to Maui, hopefully each year :)

This has been our favorite vacation rental property ever! The view exceeded our expectations. During our trip, we saw sea turtles, spinner dolphins, and rays flapping at the surface of the ocean from the lanai. Directly in front of the flat is a perfect snorkel area with an extensive reef. Nearly every evening we walked for miles along the boardwalk that starts right behind the property. The unit is beautiful, solid, and VERY clean. We rarely heard the neighbors, and felt that the windows and lanai were totally private. There was an issue with the air conditioning, and it was fixed within hours of our contacting Scott and Rebecca. They were wonderful! The bed was comfortable, and we were grateful for the private washer/dryer in the flat. We cannot wait until we can go back!

The GOOD: Spectacular ocean view from floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room and from the large lanai! Very nice and updated clean unit. The washer and dryer inside the condo were a huge plus. Literally only steps to the beach with amazing snorkeling. Saw turtles from our unit feeding close to shore every morning. Saw dozens of Spinner Dolphins breaching the water and spinning in the air! Miles and miles of boardwalk from the resort.The kitchen had everything we needed to cook. Very close to grocery store, restaurants, and courtyard with abundance of food trucks. The BAD: The only huge negative for us was the glass on the front door really warmed up the room from the morning sun, and the shade on the floor-to-ceiling window on the other side of the room didn't do much to keep the afternoon sun from baking/heating the living room. The bedroom had actual curtains to keep afternoon heat down, which created a huge disparity between the bedroom and living room temperatures. And 1 minor thing was that they only gave us 1 trash bag for the entire 7 days of our stay. The property manager said they only give a "starter" trash bag. That wasn't helpful since we had my son and his wife who were staying at the Hilton next to the Mahana come and eat with us every day, we generated more trash. For the amount of money we paid, I would think they could throw in a box of trash bags, specially when they want you to take out the trash every day.

Wonderful family location

The Mahana is a perfect location for a family. The boardwalk entrance is in front of the building for morning and evening strolls. The beach is just downstairs and to the left more and more beach to choose from. There is a shopping area across the street and a park and health food store 10 min away walking.

Great location! Perfect View!

Beautiful place! The Mahana is in a great neighborhood with coffee, grocery shopping, and several other food options a short walk away. The beach is beautiful and this high floor unit has the perfect view. It sits right next to the ocean so you can doze off to sleep to the soothing sounds of waves crashing on the beach below. And, the sunsets are to die for! We highly recommend this place.

Beautiful condo! Very well-equipped kitchen, great view and close to nice beaches. Comfortable king size bed! I had a question for the owner and she responded right away. We would definitely stay here again.

Relax and listen to the waves

My husband and I spent 8 nights at Mahana and couldn't get enough! We thoroughly enjoyed the condo and the surroundings. We walked every day, enjoyed the pool, ate breakfast on the lanai each morning listening to the waves, felt completely relaxed and in a safe and beautiful environment. The condo was very clean and well maintained as well as well equipped with all of our needs. We would love to return to 1117 Mahana someday!

We loved this condo. Clean, well appointed, AMAZING views. Quiet, beautiful beach right out front, great snorkeling. We saw an octopus! Great location to shopping, restaurants. Loved the solar shades and tile floors. Bed was very comfy, shower was big and great to wash off the sand from a day at the beach. Cocktails and sunsets every night, amazing......

Nice stay, great views

Stay was good. I appreciated the owner contacting me about work being done on the building. It was quite loud during the day since they were also working on the condo next door that shared a wall so a lot of vibrating. Views great as always and condo was well stocked for cooking. Would stay there again after work is completed.

Everything we Dreamed!

Exceeded our expectations and everything was perfect - the view from inside is beyond amazing… photos do no justice-the lanai offers ocean views that are everything you dreamed- turtles swimming, dolphins spinning and never ending views of blue green oceans extending out to the neighboring islands with Volcanic mountains in the distance- we had a magical honeymoon in the perfect spot- Mahalo and we will be back!

Everything we wanted, needed, expected and more!

We (2 adults) spent a wonderfully relaxing week in this beautiful, updated and well-maintained condo. The unit had absolutely everything we needed, and all appliances that we used worked perfectly. Although there was some construction work going on in the building, it did not affect our vacation significantly. The location was fantastic, with the beach, a pool, a beachwalk, shops and restaurants all within walking distance. In addition, the condo provided spectacular views of sunsets and whales, which we enjoyed daily! We were looking for a special place to stay in a quiet and convenient area of Kaanapali, and this condo exceeded our expectations. We look forward to another opportunity to vacation on Maui and stay in this fantastic unit!

Incredible stay

I was originally planning to stay at one of the famed hotels. A friend recommended VRBO and John’s property really stood out for me: the location, views, and the condo itself. All the high quality reviews mentioned are accurate. Just an incredible stay, an incredible experience to wake up to the ocean waves and scenery, go out and do our activities, sometimes stay in due to the heat and relax in the condo, and then return back in time for the unique always changing sunset. I should mention the condo is well packed worth all the cookware and kitchen pieces you would need so occasional cooking helped a lot. Thank you so much to Judith and his team! We loved our stay so much we plan to return no matter what our activities our in Maui.

Absolutely Awesome

This place is definitely paradise. We got an earlier flight to Maui and got to the Mahana at 10:45 and check-in was not until 4:00. Leanna & Jeri bent over backwards and get us into our unit at noon. Walking in took my breath away. So tastefully decorated and looks like the Taj Mahal. Pictures are great but don't do it justice. The Mahana is a very clean, friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Our coffee pot worked for 3 days but one morning decided to be difficult. Thanks to Jeri, we had another coffee pot delivered to our unit within hrs. They go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. Would stay here again & recommend it to everyone.

What a great property! Beautiful view overlooking the ocean with views of Lanai and Molikai. Beach was perfect. Plenty of food and activities nearby. The hosts were very amenable and answered all our questions promptly. Would definitely stay again.

Great views and perfect unit!

We had a great stay. The unit was clean, well furnished and had everything we needed. The views are totally spectacular - whales put on a show all day long! The location is great, everything is within a few minutes walk or drive. Evening were quiet, with the waves of the Pacific providing the perfect lullaby. Would definitely stay here again!

This condo was a wonderful place to celebrate Christmas in Hawaii. We appreciated the well-stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. The view from the 11th floor is spectacular; we saw lots of honu (even twice on the beach), whales, and even a shark.

A Wonderful Maui Escape

Leaving the cold and upcoming East Coast storm, we arrived to amazing views, trade breeze and most of all a peaceful retreat. The Kitchen was filled with everything you would need. We loved the large walk-in shower and separate vanity. The washer and dryer came in handy. Our favorite spot was the lanai for meals and whale watching. We hope to return. Many thanks.

We came for a one-time Hawaiian vacation, fell in love with Maui and The Mahana, and decided to make it a permanent part of our lives! We call Cody, WY home, with all its beautiful mountain scenery and Yellowstone Park just an hour away, but the view of the Pacific from the comforts of our own chairs keeps calling us back! We love to travel, but a part of our winters will be spent in this wonderful condo on this most beautiful spot of Maui! We hope that you will love the experience, and deem it a delight to return to again and again!

Maui has been voted “Best Island” by readers of Conde Nast Traveler for more than a dozen years. Maui has endless activities for vacationers, from fabulous beaches to fantastic dining and nightlife. Come see all that Maui has to offer!
Helicopter tours are an excellent way to take in the views of the whole island, including incredible waterfalls, sea cliffs and forests you would be hard pressed to view on foot. For those looking for closer views, you can take an ATV tour, or check out the Zip Lines at Kapalua or the West Maui mountains. Of course, there is the 'Road to Hana', but Hana is not the real objective. The road curves, the waterfalls, the incredible views of the ocean, the many bays (Nuaailua Bay at Keanae and Aunty Sandy's banana bread), or Waianapanapa State Park with its beautiful black sand beach are the main attractions. If you’re curious about what goes on above and/or under the waves, snorkeling or scuba tours are a great way to view the incredible variety of life that lives under the surface of the ocean. If you don’t want to get wet, there’s even a submarine that can take you into the deep while you view its mysteries from the comfort of a dry cabin. Of course, there is always a sunset cruise around the island for a very memorable evening! But the perfect ending to any day on Maui can be found right on your own private lanai - your 'Home-Away-From-Home", where you can kick off your shoes, and still see and hear the ocean! A Tropical Delight!

The Mahana is unique in the fact that it is within feet of a beach, and has private lanais looking directly at the beach and the Pacific Ocean. Being on the 11th floor offers views above the palm trees and away from those walking directly in front - and in full view - of the lower units. Located on the northwest side of the island, it is at the north end of the wonderful Ka'anapali Beach. That means that all of the benefits of Ka'anapali Beach are within walking distance - great snorkeling, the Boardwalk, restaurants, and Whaler's Village - to name a few - but you are in a quieter, more relaxed setting.
