Quaint cottage nestled in a Potomac River Community just steps from the Potomac River and private beach area. Equipped with two bedrooms and fold out couch in living, front porch with another double bed. Enjoy hanging out in the yard after beach sunning and sports during the day or biking around the neighborhood. We have some of the best sunsets on the East Coast! The Potomac River is great for swimming, kayaking, boating and more. Many boats come to our area to hang out due to our sandy river bottom and local restaurant. There is Fairview Beach Marina if you would like to launch a boat for the stay. Walk to pick pizza and subs up of sites to see, Eagles soaring along the Potomac along with Osprey, Geese and numerous wildlife. Lots of areas for hiking, biking and history. Don't forget to visit downtown Fredericksburg while you are in the area to walk and dine downtown just 25 minutes away.

Very adorable cottage with everything you would need for your stay. *Added bonus, you can bring your fur baby! The sunrise was beautiful on the front porch & just a short walk to the water.

Great House

We really enjoyed staying at this house. Everything was as advertised. The neighborhood is nice, the beach is convenient and Tim’s II was a great restaurant on water within walking distance.

Cute beach house!

I concur with the other reviews, this is a 5 star stay. The location is great. This is a quiet beach Community, really fun to walk through. The cottage is clean, nicely decorated, and has everything you need. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider going back. No reservations on this one, go ahead and book it you’ll be happy!

Loved the place and location

This was a work weekend for my daughter and relaxation weekend for me. She was looking forward to searching for sharks teeth, this was not the location for that. We did a ton of thrifting and antiquing. Loved the cozy cottage.

My stay

Myself and my family had a wonderful time. The cottage was just perfect. Everything we needed because I know the area was nearby. The realtor was fantastic. Very sweet didn’t bother us. We didn’t bother her and I would highly recommend this place to anyone that wants to rent in that area that cottage is perfect.

Quaint Place

Property was in a nice location. Very friendly neighborhood. We were there in late October, early November. Weather was nice. Host was very friendly and accommodating. The only negative I would have is the floors were a bit unlevel and the bed in the master bedroom was not very comfortable. I would stay again. a bit uncomfortable

Thank you for staying in our beach community. The home was built in 1935 and we restored the original wood floors to keep the charm of its era. We have a new mattress awaiting installation. Hope to see you again! You left an animal crate in yard. Was that trash or did you forget???

Charming cottage right by the water!

This home is so cozy and comfortable. It is not a big fancy house but that is what makes it so charming. It is thoughtfully decorated and perfect for a couple, small group of friends or a family or 4. All of the basics are available to you for cooking. The beds are comfortable and sheets and towels are new, fresh and clean. Its a very short walk to a beautiful view of the Potomac river. The host was so kind in her communication with me and so accommodating. I will absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anybody who wants to stay somewhere homey and inviting.

Fairview is a beautiful Beach Community on the Potomac where you can boat, fish, paddle board, bike and watch the most beautiful sunsets on the east coast! Close to Fredericksburg and the Northern Neck. History, vineyards, parks and more! You can plan an exploring trip to Northern Neck or even delve into a history tour of the many places that surround us. We are also surrounded by several vineyards.

Fairview Beach is a quaint beautiful community located on the Potomac River with sandy beaches for residents and guests. Great place for kayaking, boating, and just sitting on the beach. We have our own community marina and also Tim's II Restaurant on a beautiful pier. Many boaters choose to come here to relax, get out and have family fun with our sandy bottom on the river.Great place for walking, biking for all and the pups also! It is convenient to exploring the Northern Neck and Colonial Beach, Looking for history trip, check out Fredericksburg and all of the wonderful sites to see.

This 1935 cottage is a quaint and comfortable with view of the Potomac river from the front yard. We are a dog friendly community! Enjoy the yard and upon entry on the air conditioned front porch with seating and a double bed. The living room throughout has original heart pine flooring, pull out couch for extras, plus two bedrooms with queen beds. Kitchen is completely stocked with coffee, pots and pans, dishes and more with ample table space for everyone to gather.
