Guest never complained once about any problems with the unit until after he checked out. Had AC looked at and they found absolutely nothing wrong with it. Suspect renter was unhappy because of Assc. would not let him use kayaks because of liability reasons. If you want to pay only $125 a night then maybe you can rent a room in a trailer park because that is all you will get in the Florida Keys for that price.

Great Vacation!

We had an amazing time at this condo! The condo was as described and was well equipped with everything needed to cook meals and the beds were comfy. The location was great, right on the beach with a great pool. We would totally stay here again!

Extra bedroom has very little room and a remodel of that room would benefit the stay of any two couples visit. No closet and a head banger to crawl into that bed.

Excellent property for the money

This property is in a great location. Michael, the owner and the manager of the property were both very accessible for any questions we had. The buildings are aged but supposedly in the process of renovations. Really, you can't beat the unit for the price.

Great location

The condo is at agreat location, in the middle of the Keys, an hour from Key Largo and around an hour from Key West. Perfect to visit everything. We did sleep great, the view of the garden is beautiful and the swimpool was more than appreciated with the hot temperarure that we had. Everything seems to be a little old in the complex and the condo, but more than ok when you want to stay at a good price in the Keys.

The property was decent, but the condo stayed warm, air-conditioning was not the best. The master bathroom needs a major update, the bathtub is sketchy, looking. No fault of the condo/owner, but the weather had brought in Sea- weed/grass &liter and it was not pretty! It smelled really -really bad! You couldn’t even get in the water because all the trash and nasty grass. We spent a couple hours just picking up trash on the beach.

The flooring was very nice it has been updated since the pictures. It was hot in this condo. Luckily they have supplied extra fans and one extra air unit that did help for sure. We were only left one washcloth for a family of five for a week. There were plenty of towels supplied as well as chairs for the beach. The couch was very nasty we had to put a sheet over it before we sat in it. The blinds are broken, the faucets were falling apart, the cabinets were falling off the hinges and some drawers would not shut. There were many lights and lamps but many of those were burnt out. The dishwasher worked if we were lucky. The kids beds were not made when we arrived. The beach had lots of stinking seaweed but this was of no fault of the owner it was a bad time for that in that area. The sliding glass door was very difficult. This condo could be very nice with some time taken to take care of it. It was a very quiet location and the pool was nice.

Sorry that you were not happy with your stay. You never let me know of any problems with the condo or I would of addressed them right away. There is a maintenance man on duty every day he would of resolved any issues, but nothing was ever said so I had no idea of these problems. I believe that the cleaning lady leaves beds unmade with clean sheets and bedding at end of bed so renters know they are clean.l will confer with her on broken cabinets and drawers as well as broken faucets? Normally she is right on top of any problems and if she can't resolve anything then she will contact me. Blinds have been an ongoing problem with people not opening them correctly before they slide them but they snap right back into slots.AC is normally set at 72 and never had a problem with the system keeping it at 72. Never had a issue with sliding door?? I'll have her check to make sure it didn't come off the runner?

Marathon Visit

Overall the stay was good. There was a main water line pipe break on our side of the island that left us without water one day for almost an entire day. I reached out after many hours to let them know of this, however much to my dismay they had received communication from the onsite manager that it was out and an ETA for restoration, in addition that the building would need to be on a water boil notice for another 24 hours. It would have been helpful to have that information passed along, rather than assuming we would someone know this information. Other than that, the place was clean and quiet. Check in was a little odd, that the door was just left unlocked and keys left on the counter. I understand that it is probably a safe location, it just left me a little uncomfortable knowing anyone could have entered prior to our arrival and caused an issue, which then we could have potentially been charged for. Same with leaving, we just left the door unlocked and left keys on the counter.

The condo was descent. Con’s:The place was clean except the master bathtub had not been cleaned. They were very apologetic and sent someone to come clean it promptly. There was also a portable AC in the master bedroom that was very loud all day everyday. It was somewhat deceiving because the property was listed on the beach but it was not “beachfront”.Pro’s: Very prompt with getting back to you. Well stocked with kitchen stuff, beach towels, beach accessories. Plenty of seating.
