Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad to hear you found the complex quiet and clean and enjoyed the master bedroom. I wish we’d known about the shower condition, the items left behind by previous guests, and the broken porch chair while you were there. Had we known, we would have sent the cleaners back right away and replaced the patio chair as quickly as possible. Regarding the dryer, thank you again for letting us know it wasn’t working. We know that was an inconvenience, and we moved as quickly as possible to resolve it. We scheduled the replacement immediately after you notified us, with installation set for less than 48 hours later. Unfortunately, that first replacement arrived damaged in shipment, which was outside of our control and required a reorder. Even with that unexpected delay, we were glad to have a working dryer installed less than 72 hours after you notified us and (and before the end of your one-week stay) so you could use it before leaving. We also appreciated your flexibility in choosing to have the dryer delivered during your stay rather than waiting until after your departure. We understand that any service visit can be disruptive, and we did our best to balance a quick resolution with minimal interruption to your visit. I was worried that we had missed sending you the cable instructions and beach access information, but I double checked and they were emailed to you along with a map showing beach access points on April 26th. We always want guests to have a great experience, and real-time communication gives us the chance to correct problems while guests are still there. Even though we wish we’d had your feedback in time to correct matters for you, we still appreciate the information and will review everything you mentioned with our cleaning and property teams to help ensure the condo is fully guest-ready moving forward.

Thanks for the great review! The open kitchen is great, we just wish it was a littler larger! We have plans to renovate, but there will be a price jump once we do, so for now we're happy to be a great "value proposition" in the South Forest Beach area.

Susan, we're so disappointed to hear that you did not care for our condo. We do try to be transparent regarding all elements of the condo by specifying in the description that: "It is NOT luxury accommodations. It is a well-loved (i.e. well-used) unit that can always use updates and maintenance. If you are seeking a pristine space, this is not a great fit." and including a list of repairs we would love to make to the space. We agree that the carpeting feels worn, especially next to the brand new LVT flooring on the main level. That said, we do expect our cleaning service to leave you a CLEAN space and would have been more than happy to have them out to correct anything that was less-than-acceptable. I am also surprised to hear any issues with the lock as we've had 24 tenants in 2018 and have never had concerns. I also scanned my messages with you and did not see anything indicating a problem. If you could provide me with details, it would be tremendously helpful. We hope the island did not disappoint during your visit and that you return to Hilton Head if not to our own property!
