Nestled along the banks of the picturesque Shenandoah River, our spacious retreat offers great views and can comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests. Being only a half mile from Harpers Ferry National Park, which offers shuttles to downtown every 10-15 minutes, and being only minutes drive from downtown, our property provides the perfect balance of comfort and convenient access with an amazing deck to unwind at the end of a day.

Our stay at this property couldn’t have been better. The house is exactly as it’s described and has plenty of space. There were 3 families total who stayed and everyone was comfortable. The location of the house couldn’t have been more perfect to explore Harper’s Ferry - you can bike or walk right into the National Historic Park and either explore the trails there or take the shuttle bus into the historical town. We also checked out Harper’s Ferry Waterpark which was 8 minutes from the house. The kids had a blast there and it’s definitely worth going to. The hosts were very responsive to messages and even accommodated an early check in. We would definitely choose to stay here again.

The Riverview Escape was the perfect house for 5 adults and 4 kids. We had a funeral in Leesburg. Plenty of comfortable seating options. The kids enjoyed the board games and games in the garage. We would definitely stay here again!

This house was roomy and perfect for our group of 3 families. The kids had a separate room to play on the main floor, in addition to the garage game room and bunk room. There was plenty of room for all of us to spread out without feeling crowded. The location was very convenient to nearby attractions.

Great place near to the historic town area. Easy bike ride around the area and great access to the C&O canal. House was excellent and could easily accommodate 10 people or two families. Would stay again if visiting the area.

This property is very family friendly! The game room in the garage was great.The location to activities is perfect. Close to the Harpers Ferry Visitors Center and downtown Harpers Ferry. The Toy Train Museum is a 5 minute drive. Antiques and flea markets are 15-20 minute drive. The house is at the end of a dead-end street with a lovely deck overlooking the Shenandoah River. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, and utensils for eating in.The Little Red Barn Ice Cream was less than a 1/2 hour drive away and well worth the trip if you like ice cream. Their portions are incredible as was the selection of flavors.Great weekend getaway. I'm so glad we stayed here! We would definitely come back again if we need a place to stay in this area.

We had a great time staying at this house. Lots of space for our reunion with a big kitchen and plenty of room to spread out. The location was super, and the neighborhood was quiet. We even saw deer along the road near the house.

Everything was as listed! The kids were entertained with all the toys! The view and location were wonderful! Only suggestion we would have if a baby gate for those beautiful stairs.

Beautiful location.

We booked this home for our family who was coming out from three different states for our son’s wedding in Winchester. The home was spacious and comfortable and we really enjoyed the beautiful view from the living room/kitchen area. The kids enjoyed the games in garage and we all enjoyed the Town of Harper’s Ferry. It was just what we needed- thank you!

Just what we were looking for

Our stay included all that we were looking for and was lovely. The rooms were very spacious and had good quality bedding, towels, and pillows. We enjoyed cooking dinners in the large kitchen and enjoying them together in the dining room. The games in the garage provided a nice break in the afternoons and evenings after a day around Harper’s Ferry. Nothing but great things to say.

Weekend with Family & Friends

The Hosts are exceptional with communication, quick response, authentic, caring and were available if we had any concerns. (There were not any issues at all) House is extremely clean, well furnished. All beds were very comfortable and the sheets, pillows so fresh and clean. Back deck is so relaxing, quiet and nice view of the river. We had a blast in the game room! Do not hesitate to book this property!

This is one of the best VRBO properties we have ever stayed at. The location is perfect -- close to both Lowertown Harpers Ferry, the Harpers Ferry National Historic Site Visitor Center (where you get the shuttle to the park), and highway 340 so easy access in all directions.The house itself is spacious, well maintained, and well furnished. We loved sitting on the deck and looking at the Shenandoah River below while enjoying our coffee. The main floor bedroom with ensuite was super convenient for the older members of our group. We had everything we needed in the kitchen to make our meals when we didn't feel like dining out.The host was responsive and communicative. Check in and check out were a breeze.No particular downsides to note, perhaps except that parking in the driveway was modestly challenging due to how the neighbors across the street park their cars. Just need to be careful.If ever we're back in the area, we will stay here.

Perfect for a group

My husband and I brought our two kids and four Scouts from my son’s troop up to hike a section of the AT for five days. The house was perfect - plenty of room, everything we needed and close to the AT, the national park and groceries. The house is just as roomy as the photos show and the games in the garage were a big hit. Thank you!

My wife and I are originally from Washington State, but we have lived all over the country being in the military. After being stationed in DC and coming to Harpers Ferry, the mountains and hiking reminded us of home and we we fell in love. Our family enjoys coming up and spending time in this amazing location often. We love being able to host and share our house with others to experience Harpers Ferry.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

The neighborhood is quiet and very welcoming with views of the river and mountains on top of that. The location to down town being just a few minutes drive or quick walk to the shuttle service at the National Park was a big part of why we chose this house.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

This house has two HUGE king size master sweets with an en suite bathroom for each, both with great views.
There is also a large deck with a BBQ and fire place or two expansive living rooms, perfect for hosting groups.
