Spending your vacation taking in the gorgeous water views of both the Bogue Sound and the Atlantic Ocean? Seems like ‘A Sound Choice’ to us! This bright and serene, 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom condo is one street over, or approximately a 10 minute walk, to public beach access with free parking. The Nautical Club condominium complex is located in the heart of the Crystal Coast, where you’ll find many amenities within the complex, as well as great dining, shopping & entertainment options nearby. With its central location, Indian Beach is just a short drive (or boat ride) to Beaufort and Morehead City.

Beautiful Condo

Exactly as pictured with a great view and very clean. The building itself has a fully equipped gym and game room, which our family loved. Perfect location in the middle of Atlantic Beach and Emerald Isle. Highly recommend staying here!

Comfortable and convenient

Me and my family attended a wedding nearby and needed a place to stay. Everyone felt comfortable in this beautiful suite with the ability to cook our meals eat on the balcony to watch the rain and the 3 bathrooms were a plus. We would recommend this place to anyone needing great accommodations convenient to the beaches and shopping! Highly recommend this location.

great stay

we would definitely will stay again. It is a beautiful condo and the facility is gorgeous. My favorite part was the library on the top floor. The dryer did not dry the clothes but the owner was very responsive to the problem. The view was outstanding in the morning and the walk to the beach was a short 10 minutes on the Atlantic side. very well maintained condo. Immaculate.

Perfect vacation

What an incredible location for our beach vacation. The views from the condo are breath taking. The condo itself was clean and well stocked with arrival items and lots of spices for cooking. The condo is very modern with beachy decor throughout. The beds are so comfy and the jetted tub is very relaxing. You are so close to everything you need. Beach, inlet, shopping, restaurants and lots of attractions. We enjoyed walking to the beach each night and swimming in the pool which is open until 11:00. We will definitely be back Crystal coast!

Reset Vacation

Upon arrival the property was stunning! The views of the sound were amazing. The property was amazing. The owners were great as we did message them about the fire alarm going off our first morning and the rest of the day. They assured us everything was ok and then followed up to let us know it was maintenance working on it. We look forward to coming back! Thank you for such an amazing stay.

I would consider this rental "excellent" instead of "stellar."The kitchen was very well stocked and very clean. The beds were all comfortable, with lots of extra blankets. We didn't get to use the kayaks, as it was too windy and choppy the days we were there, but it was nice to know they were available. There were a few bottles of water stocked in the mini fridge and lots of spices, etc in the kitchen.The walk to the beach was longer than we expected and would have been impossible if we did not have a wagon borrowed from a friend. Some of the furniture was starting to look slightly dingy and in need of a deep clean. The deck furniture was excellent and comfortable, but I would recommend taking out the cloth pillows/cushions as they were getting mildewy.The biggest cleaning issue was that the rug in the living room looked as if it had not been vacuumed -- there were clumps of what we assumed was dog fur on it. The only major problem affecting the comfort of our stay was the sliding glass door in the main bedroom. The seal is not tight and the wind blowing into that tiny crack was incredibly loud and annoying. We finally figured out to stuff a bunch of plastic bags in the crack. That solved it for our stay, but made it impractical to use that door and it really needs to be repaired.We would definitely consider staying in this rental again and recommend it to others if we wanted to be on the sound side of the island!

Hello! We're Rob & Marlo Countiss, the proud owners and managers of "A Sound Choice," our little piece of paradise located at The Nautical Club in Indian Beach, NC. We have been happily married for over 30 years and along the way have been blessed with three wonderful children. We packed up our lives and moved to North Carolina from Roanoke, Virginia in 2000. Though we miss being surrounded by fellow Hokie fans, we couldn't have picked a better place to raise our family for the past 20+ years. When we aren't being beach bums, we share our time between our hometown, Mebane, NC and Hyco Lake in Semora, NC. Our love for being by water is comparable to another one of our shared passions - real estate! We operate a family real estate team within RE/MAX called Countiss Realty Group. Our youngest daughter Laura, our newest and most favorite addition to the team, also assists with our property management division. Chances are you may be in contact with 1, 2, or even all 3 of us, when booking your stay at "A Sound Choice." It's a shared goal of ours to be readily available for our guests and to make sure you feel comfortable and content during your visit - just as you would if you stayed at a family member's house. We would be delighted to have you book your next beach vacation with us!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Indian Beach stole our hearts due to the stunning water views on both sides of the island. (Just wait until you see a sunset from our balcony!) We also love the less-crowded beaches and the close proximity to our favorite stores and restaurants. There is just nothing quite like the Crystal Coast of North Carolina!

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

If you are anything like Marlo, then that means you love to cook! She has the kitchen equipped with just about every kitchen tool, utensil or gadget you could need. We also know how much of a pain it is to track down the beach chairs out of the attic or top shelf in the garage, followed by endless vacuuming of your car to get the sand out. To save you from this, we allow our guests to use our beach chairs stored outside of the condo.
