Opportunity to explore trails in the oldest forests on the planet, multiple mountains for skiing, and quaint towns to dine and shop such as Woodstock, Kingston, and Saugerties nearby.
I rented this house for my bridal party to stay at the weekend of my wedding. This place was absolutely stunning. It was very cozy and had a fantastic view. The check in process and communicating with the hosts was so easy. Would love to go back there again at some point.
The house is beautiful. A lot of space. Outside we had an amaizing time during the snow blizzard. Fireplace is great. We love to sitting next to it and play board games or Uno with our kids. Thank you Dennis and Erica Th
The house was beautiful and very spacious.we enjoyed the location close to woodstock and saugerties for shopping. We also hiked everyday on a different trail easily found. We have already told the owner we wish to rent again next year
This home had everything we needed with a great outdoor space. When we arrived the house was clean and as advertised, no surprises. Host Dennis responded right away to any questions/concerns. We enjoyed our stay!
Serenity Lake was a very good place to vacation with the family. We had 6 adults and 2 children under the age of 2. There was plenty of space for us to relax. There was a changing pad for the babies and board books. They loved finding the rubber ducks in the cabinet. We made smores at the fire pit after we found the fixings in the pantry. There were plenty of citronella candles and torches to keep the bugs away. Some enjoyed time in the hot tube and did venture out in the kayaks. The house is located in a nice quiet area that allowed us to go for families walks. The location allows for you to have options for activites. Serenity Lake is located 15 minutes from Kingston and Sojouner State Park, and 35 minutes from Poughkeepies. The hosts were very quick to respond when we had questions. We would definitely stay here again.
We loved the house layout and decor, beds were comfortable. It was a hot week and amenities showed house had A/C but it did not so bedrooms were 85 degrees. Could use more cookware, no pot to cook pasta or any sauce pans.
We are a young family who loves all the natural beauty and historical sites in the area. From going on hikes, to fishing, skiing, and trying all the farmers markets and eateries nearby we love sharing our love of the Lower Hudson area with our guests!
When not exploring all the Hudson Valley has to offer, the home is a self-contained vacation perfect for large groups and families. Guest can use the waterfront to kayak or fish during the day and use the hot tub or firepit in the evening. When not outside, guests can use the strong internet to work or watch movies with the many applications provided in the television set.
