Under new ownership as of 5-17-2024, Unit 309 is in beautiful Port Aransas along the Texas Gulf Coast. This is a two-bedroom, two-bath third floor (no one above you) vacation rental in the beach front resort of La Mirage which is located about 5 miles south of downtown Port Aransas. In early 2025 the kitchen was completely renovated with all new appliances. This unit has restricted gulf views and borders the nation's newest beach front resort community, Cinnamon Shores South.
I must confess that when my wife and I spent the time updating the décor and replacing some deck furniture and accent furniture, I may have spent too much time on the deck watching and listening to the surf. When I was tired of that, I was able to watch the activities of the adjoining Cinnamon Shores South.
This 2-bedroom, 2-bath unit features a well-equipped (newly renovated) kitchen that allows the preparation of light snacks all the way to full meals. There is a Keurig Duo coffee maker so you can either bring K-cups for a cup or ground coffer for a pot. We are sure everyone that vacations at the beach wants to cook! The master bedroom has a king-sized bed while the guest bedroom provides a comfy queen-sized bed. Both bedrooms have smart TVs with the guest bedroom having a new 50â Roku TV that has a guest mode. Simply key your arrival and departure dates and the access to any streaming sites you may have signed into will be deleted upon departure. Both bedrooms have adjoining full bathrooms.
The living room sports a new 65â Roku TV. This TV also has a guest mode for those that want to sign in to their streaming sites and binge on movies. Spectrum TV is available on all TVs.
To reach the beach, you simply exit the entrance door and turn left. You will take the third-floor walkway to the southeast corner elevator which will take you to the ground floor at the beginning of the boardwalk to the beach. This lower level also has BBQ grills, horseshoe courts and cornhole! Be sure to enjoy the view of the two pools (one of which is heated from November through March) and the two hot tubs. Also check out the newly resurfaced sports court that now has pickleball courts. You may also want to stop at the 3rd floor patios on the northeast and southeast corners and enjoy the views.
If you are traveling with a group and want a place to congregate to talk, play board games or maybe a game of table tennis, the newly renovated recreation room is located on the 1st floor and is open until 9:00 PM daily.

The kitchen is well equipped with basic cooking needs (dishes, silverware, pots, pans, coffee maker (K-cup or ground), microwave and large appliances). Since Covid, the enhanced cleaning has not allowed open food products such as spices or seasoning to remain in the unit. In addition, all ice is removed and must be refrozen by each guest.
The condo is supplied with one set of sheets for all beds. Bath towels are supplied. Please bring Beach Towels.
A start up supply of toilet paper, 1 roll of paper towels, 2 kitchen trash bags, 1 kitchen sponge, bar hand soap for each sink, dishwasher tablets and 1 small bottle of dish soap along with basic toiletries will be provided. If more supplies are needed, please visit the front desk.

This condo comes with a covered parking space. Parking passes are required. Spaces are reserved, please park in your assigned spot. If you bring an additional vehicle, it will need to be parked in the guest parking lot at the front of the complex.
