This home was very spacious, quiet, clean and beautiful! The hosts even provided a lovely bottle of wine, which complemented our dinner perf. We had a wonderful time and would love to stay there again.
Totally enjoyed the property-secluded and beautiful scenery. House as advertised, owner communication was great! Sly Park/Jenkinson Lake shouldn't be missed-10 mile drive. Placerville -lots of shops & restaurants. Also visited a winery in the area.
Well located near Placerville, quiet and host was very responsive to our needs. Enjoyable family reunion. Cali the cat visited everyday. Would do again.

Rented for my daughterâs wedding cute homey place.. sweet cat named Cali.. unfortunately no working fireplace /wood burning stove as advertised not informed until we got there.
Very spacious home- had everything we needed- even some roaming goats and cats. We come from an urban area and even though I grew up in the country the concept of being in an unknown area and all the glass windows to the outside that we cannot see out at night made us very nervous. The living room windows and the door to the patio off the master room had no coverings we could close-- so we did not sit in the living room at night. The two queen beds were pretty firm and we just omitted sleeping in one of them altogether. The bedroom with the TV was missing a remote unfortunately-- the master bath shower--trim between the tile to the shower and bathroom floor is not attached to the floor. The outdoor space was nice ans relaxing to sit out in the mornings- there are spiders and webs around alll of the door ways in and out- my daughter is very scared of spiders. The deck that had the large brown furniture obviously hasn't been used in quite some time as it is not clean and lots of things have fallen on them from the trees. This driveway was less scary than the last rental we had in the area which is a plus. Very private and unique home, lots of space for a family to spread out. I felt the cleaning fee was a bit steep but with a larger group it may be needed. There were only 3 of us. I do feel bad becuase we left in such a hurry I forgot to start the dishwasher! Loaded it all up and then got distracted!
My wife Tina and I have been happily married for 21 years. We are high school sweethearts who share a deep love for each other and our family. We have four children together and enjoy spending time with them, whether itâs attending their sports games or going on family vacations. We are also active sports enthusiasts and love staying in shape. We enjoy traveling and exploring new places, especially if it means spending more quality time together.
