Lake Leelanau and the Living is Easy: This home on South Lake Leelanau combines relaxing privacy, lake access, with stunning sunsets. With 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and an open living concept, the modern designed home accommodates up to 10 guests comfortably.  We maintain the property for year-round rentals.

Boaters' Paradise: The property has direct waterfront access to the lake with a dock and patio area. With a township boat launch exactly one mile away, and miles of Lake Leelanau to explore, family water sports are just out your front door.

Dock: The long dock and patio is available for use from Memorial Weekend through early October. The dock is best used when loading and unloading of passengers. Winds and waves can quickly pick up and can cause damage if the boat is kept there for an extended time. A mooring ball is available at no charge. For an additional charge, there is a boat hoist available for guest use, for boats that weigh up to 2500 lbs.

Location: The Sun Bear home is in the heart of Leelanau County, yet 15 minutes from downtown Traverse City. The Grand Traverse/ Leelanau region is known nationally for its charming villages, wineries,  and water recreation. Hiking, running and biking is a short distance away on the Leelanau Trail.

Winter Rentals: Our house is a great winter getaway, but when snow conditions exist, getting up the short hill on our property can be a challenge. If you're considering renting from the end of December into March, we recommend that you have adequate winter or all-weather tires on your vehicle. We do plow and maintain the driveway and hill throughout the winter.
