The Suite is in a nice neighbourhood with some very high end homes close by. It is just a small suite for two but it was very nice and vintage decor was beautifull.
The host, Paul, is quite welcoming and hospitable, informing us of local eateries and events. We very much enjoyed the Sealy experience to our Galveston adventure.
We loved this home. It felt very comfortable. Itâs decorated so beautifully. The gentlemen Jim who assisted us was such a great person. He was very funny and personable. He made us feel safe. We would love to stay again in future visits.
Perfect location to enjoy Galveston. Beach and downtown very close. Property owner was awesome. The place was clean and had some special touches to make the stay perfect.
Beautiful house! The room was very well furnished and tastefully decorated in Victorian style. Host was responsive and available. Great little weekend spot!
My girlfriend and I stayed here for Valentineâs Day. She was almost moved to tears by the beauty of the house and room. Sheâs always wanted to stay in one of these houses in Galveston and I couldnât have chosen a better one. The host Paul was quick to reply to messages and Jimmy was the coolest guy and was even decorating for Mardi Gras when we arrived. Everything is very close but the location and home make you want to just stay put. We will be back as soon as possible!
This property is gorgeous! We love the 19th-century Victorian style, and the Sealy Suite does not disappoint. The gardens surround the property and are lush and beautiful; even the pool in the back felt like a private lagoon. One evening, there was a rainstorm, so we sat on the front porch to enjoy the sea breeze, the smell of gardenias, and the sound of raindrops on the roof. We were so relaxed that we didn't want to leave. Sitting on the porch was interesting, showing what living there would have been like. Street tours came by, looking at the house and the neighborhoodThe Sealy Suite itself was comfortable, exquisite, and had positive energy. We slept very well once we got used to the old four-poster bed. The bed or the floor was tilted just a bit so our heads were a little lower than the rest of our bodies, but the abundance of pillows helped with that. The mattress was soft.
