The stars at night are big and bright at Texas Star. This two-bedroom Texas Hill Country home is the perfect getaway for families and couples. A roomy hot tub offers comfort and relaxation. Inside, you will find two large, comfortable bedrooms with King and Queen size beds, and full bathroom. Soak up the peace and tranquility of the Texas Hill Country with this charming home.

Texas Star offers two comfortable bedrooms. One room hosts a king-size bed with lovely linens, a large television, and private access to the outdoor patio. The second bedroom offers a queen-size bed, lovely views as well as private access to the patio area, convenient to access the hot tub. A roomy bathroom with custom tile work and a walkin-shower offers plenty of room to tidy up for a night on the town.

A kitchen and living space is a celebration of rustic charm. Newly renovated kitchen with a large granite island, overlooks the living room and offers all that is needed to prepare your favorite meals. A farmhouse sink makes for an easy clean up and plenty of seating space at the kitchen island. Kitchen, bedrooms, & bathroom are fully equipped.

Texas Star is conveniently located only minutes from Wimberley Square. Spend the day browsing the darling shops, dining in the delicious restaurants, and touring local wineries and breweries. TEXAS STAR HAS A STRICT “NO PET” POLICY; many of our guests choose this property because they have allergies and appreciate that our home is free of dog hair and dander. Only federally certified service dogs are permitted.

* The road is very rough, please drive slowly and be careful over the rocks and valleys. Drive carefully: keeping it “low in the middle!

Great little spot

Place was very clean and nice! Beds were comfy. Lock box was a little difficult to open but we got it figured out. Overall, great place!

Remote and Clean!

This property is a very short drive in to town; remote and quiet. It was very clean, and description also accurate. The hot tub under the Hill Country sky was amazing!

Very cute property

We enjoyed our stay. I had to ding the host on communication since we called and messaged through the app shortly after check in with a minor problem and didn't hear back from her until we had checked out. I assumed, and she confirmed, that life had gotten in the way, but I do feel I have to be honest about the lack of response. This was likely a one time problem, so don't let that stop you from booking this cute house. Drive carefully on the dirt road to the property - so many deer!

Refreshing

This little house was the perfect getaway! Check in was easy and the host was more than happy to assist when we couldn’t get the cable on (user error)! We thoroughly enjoyed the location! The hot tub was great and the grill was ready for use! The kitchen was more than equipped for what we needed! We will be booking again when a reset is needed!

Cute & Relaxing

Very cute little house, we thought it would be slightly more secluded than it was, but definitely not an issue. Hot tub worked great. Kitchen had plenty of items to cook full dinner with. Only slight issues we had were the grill was out of propane, and the 2nd bottle was ancient and cracked so we had to go buy another one. Not a big deal since we can use it at home as well. And the "road" up to home was crazy washed out, but can't blame homeowners for that.

Great little getaway

great location just on the outskirts of town (like maybe 1 mile out). Nothing special, but super nice. Spacious and clean. The hot tub and back deck was nice to just chill on. There was a fire pit but we didn't have any wood so we couldn't use it. (But that was ok) The road to it was bad like the other reviews said, but i grew up in the country so roads like that were normal, no biggie there either. Overall great place and would stay there again if i go back to the area.

Loved the trees!

As birders, we loved having coffee on the patio. (Although concerned about all the cats running loose). Home is beautiful and comfortable!

Decent place to stay…

Texas Star is a cute little house. We used the hot tub once. It was nice. Used the fire pit and that was nice too. The king bed was comfortable and we both slept good. The couch in living room was small. If two couples were there wouldn’t be enough seating. A comfortable chair or recliner would help. The road to the house is terrible. So glad we had a big truck.

The loveliest vacation we ever had.

My wife and I love to book at least 1 yearly get away. After seeing the ad we had to jump on it and we were not disappointed! Apart from the complete privacy you get on the property, it's large and full of beautiful views all the way around the property! They obviously keep the property super clean and the AC was cranked full blast which was perfect for this Texas heat. Honestly, this was the nicest property we've ever stayed at. Definitely plan on coming back and would highly recommend for any couples or anyone looking to enjoy the best the country side of Texas has to offer. 10/10

Clean cabin close to Wimberley Downtown

This house was perfect for myself and one friend having a girl’s trip. Check in and out was very easy. The house was about 8-10 minutes from Wimberley’s little shopping area, Jacob’s Well and Old Baldy Park. It wasn’t very crowded the weekend we went so keep traffic in mind if it’s busier. The road to the house was very bumpy so go slow! The house, towels and bed linens were all very clean and the area was quiet. Both beds were comfortable too! We loved the giant island in the kitchen! It was great for cooking. I will say the coffee maker could use an upgrade. The buttons were hard to push and when had to play with it for a while to get it to work both morning. I missed my k-cups but that’s a millennial for you. Plenty of coffee places in town though or bring your own single serve machine. Overall this was the perfect house for a little get away!
