Important Notes:
#1. This property has several friendly neighbor dogs 🐶 🐶 who will probably come visit during the day. We supply the treats, you supply the head scratches and belly rubs!
#2. Our “owner’s guesthouse” is across the driveway from the main house. It is very rare we need to come up during the same time our VRBO guests are in town (mainly just to mow the grass if we have back-to-back VRBO guests), but we will always ask our guest beforehand if it is ok before doing so.

Relaxing Private 2 bed/2 bath 1,675sqft Lake House (sleeps 7 guests) overlooking 800 feet of waterfront views! Enjoy fishing, swimming, kayaking, relaxing in the hot tub, grilling burgers, or making s'mores by the fire pit.

Electric oven with microwave, full-size refrigerator with filtered water and ice.

- TWO FISHING DOCKS with several adult and kid fishing poles and tackle for guest use
- KAYAKS & CANOE, two one-person kayaks, one two-person tandem kayak, one canoe. Adult and Child life jackets are available for guest use.
- PRIVATE BOAT LAUNCH on property (available April - October when water levels are at full pool, for lower winter-pool please use the nearby public boat launch) Fishing, swimming, kayaks, hot tub, and fire pit are available year-round.
- YEAR-ROUND WATER - We are lucky to have water at our dock even in the winter when the lake levels are lower. Guests who are bringing their boat can tie up to one of the docks year-round. In general, Weiss Lake is a shallow lake, so please mind depth readings as you enjoy the lake.

The Cordial Catfish is in Cedar Bluff, AL two miles from the Georgia state line where the Coosa River meets Weiss Lake. The larger city of Rome, Georgia to the is 20 minutes to the East with tons of restaurant and shopping choices. The smaller towns of Cedar Bluff and Centre, Alabama are 15-20 minutes to the West.

Nearby hiking at Little River Canyon and Berry College’s Mountain Campus. Multiple golf courses within a 30-minute drive.

>>>> HOUSE RULES:

A few simple house rules...

- To respect our awesome neighbors, please refrain from outdoor loud noise/music from 10pm to 8am.

- We do not allow pets. Our neighbor’s pups have full run of the area (country lake living out here!) so we have made this a no-pet property.

- No smoking inside the house. Outdoor smoking/vaping is fine.

- We don’t allow parties. Only guests on the reservation are allowed on property (unless previously approved by the owners).

- Minimum age to book is 25, and booking individual must be staying on property with group the entire time.

- No Diving (water can be shallow in spots) Swimming and use of sports equipment should be done at your own risk. Just like any body of water, there are dangers associated with those activities. Children should be under adult supervision at all times, especially around the water. Keep those babies safe!

- Being around a lake, you may see wildlife during your visit. Chipmunks, squirrels, deer, birds of all sizes, fish, frogs, lizards, and sometimes even a snake or a beaver. We have a king snake (one of the good guys!) who we see a few times a year. But we have never seen a poisonous snake the entire time we have owned this property. 🤞🤞
