Our cabins are located in heart of the Manistee National Forest, offering abundant hiking, biking and snowmobile trails, plus world class trout, steelhead and salmon fishing. Caberfae and Crystal Mountain are just a short drive away as well. Explore our private pond, fully stocked fly and tackle shop, game room and firepits! Come enjoy some peace and quiet in beautiful northern Michigan.

Perfect

The cabin was clean and newly renovated. Great place to stay for any angler looking to have a comfortable stay and be close to the water. Our host was very responsive and ready to help. Will definitely recommend this to friends and looking forward to stay here again!

Property was clean and well appointed. Everything was comfortable and convenient for a fishing trip on the Big Manistee river. We will ne back!

A little disappointed

We have stayed here in the past and was a very enjoyable trip. We arrived and were given the wrong cabin. The young girl claimed we rented a different cabin. But, i had the reservation with the unit number and photo on my phone. She insisted we take a look at the one she suggested. The unit was old, musty and didnt have 2 bedrooms. I informed her we didnt want it and wanted the one rented. She tried to give us a different unit that was equally as old and musty. In the end we were finally given the one that i had the receipt for on my phone. She said they had a group of 2 couples coming and i believe that is why they tried to make the switch. It was just my husband and i. But, he snores like a bear so we like separate rooms. In the end it turned out ok. It was just the hastle of getting what we reserved. We probably wont be going back.

Needed a place to lay out heads

Needed a place to sleep before a fishing charter and it was nice and clean. It’s attached to another cabin so not quite what I expected but was really nice.

Very nice and close to our relatives. Will stay here again. Mike was most helpful and answered all questions we had. Love the personal touch with the decorations.

Nice cabin in the Woods

Cabin was good size with two bedrooms, and was rather new with clean rooms, clean bathroom and kitchen. The only negative was there was a lot of construction material to the side of the cottage that could’ve been removed, making the outside more attractive.

Peaceful Cabin in the Woods

We had a fabulous time and would definitely stay here again. We were pleasantly surprised to find that they also provided a selection of breakfast foods and trail snacks in a community location. We enjoyed our quiet, peaceful stay and the beds were so comfortable. I slept better than I have in a long time. Thank you so much!

4 day getaway

The property was exactly as pictured. We had everything we needed for our 4 day stay. We bought groceries in Manistee and cooked all of our meals which saved us a lot of money. The location was great as well. We were about 20 minutes to Manistee, 30 minutes to Ludington and we always a visitto Frankfort. This is definitely a hidden gem and we will likely return.

We were not provided with the room we reserved. We booked a two bedroom and were given a no-bedroom two queen room.

Great Little Cabin

This was a great little cabin. It had two bedrooms kitchen area in living room with one bathroom. It was perfect for two of us to stay for Fishing. Also had a grill we took advantage of beds were comfortable. Living area was comfortable would definitely recommend to anyone coming to the area

Very nice!

Was unclear how to check in because they really don’t say on VRBO that you need to go to the store on the corner, but after we figured it out, we were pleasantly surprised. The cabin was very clean and comfortable! We would recommend, and will most likely come back one day.
