The property was well maintained and close to restaurants, grocery stores, and Sports at the Beach. The beds were extremely comfortable. The house was clean with a well stocked kitchen.
Check-in was easy and communication with Kayla was easy. The place was so cute inside! The kitchen is gorgeous and well supplied! Comfy living rm and bedrooms. Super clean!
The best stay I have ever booked. The home was just what was described, and even better in person. Just enough space for everyone to relax. Close enough to the grocery store, restaurants and takeout places. The owner even left a small sweet gift for my sonâs birthday! You wonât regret booking this amazing home. Will definitely look to book again in the future!
We absolutely enjoyed our stay. It was convenient to the beaches and the activities within the area. The accommodations were fabulous with a very clean and new-home feel to relax and unwind during our week at the beach. It more than met our expectations. Highly recommend this rental property!
This house has everything to create a lovely break.
From the neat modern looking bedroom and bathroom to the kitchen with Cuisinart and Keurig extras. This place has you covered. Plenty of extra blankets and pillows. She even provided little extras in the bathroom and kitchen.
I would stay again!
House is very cozy and nicely decorated! Only complaint is all the bedroom doors are glass and provide no privacy. Our dogs loved the big backyard. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for breakfast cooking. Although the house is on a main road, traffic noise was minimal. Host was very quick with all communications.
We havent stayed at a vrbo in a long time. Ive heard some chatter about houses not being as expected. That was not the case with us! The photos were exactly like the property. Beautifully decorated. Everything was neat and clean. No clutter. It was well stocked with toliet paper, soap, papertowels, linens, towels, dishes, COFFEE, etc. Even Helpful tips about the area. Located close enough to anything we wanted to do, but not in the hustle. It is on a main road so there is pretty heavy traffic during the day, but the road noise was minimal at night and did not bother us. There is a nice big yard if you are walking a dog or have children to play, but its not fully fensed as was stated. For us it wasnt a problem. There was no excess noise from royal farms. It was a convenient quick walk for little things we wanted. The host was very responsive! The only things not in the kitchen we could have used were a pancake/flat pan and a baking dish for dessert. Otherwise it was fully stocked! The property is well maintained. This was a great experience for us and we would definitely stay again!
Our family will definitely book again. House was private and convenient to the beaches. House is well stocked with housewares and fun games for entire family.
Close by grocery store and local restaurants. Iâm not a fan of Keurigâs. I would have preferred a pour over option for coffee. However , Royal Farms is within walking distance.
Overall a 4 star stay.
The location of the cottage is a short drive to the beaches/towns of Rehoboth, Lewes, Dewey and Bethany as well as two state parks. But if you would like to stay closer to the area, the nearby bay beckons. The house is as good as new, with plenty of nice features. It also has plenty of indoor/outdoor games to keep you entertained should you want to stay in. I was treated to birthday gifts from the host as well as a thorough guide of places to go, try, explore, taste, etc. The host is very responsive and was a pleasure to deal with.
Very nice place to stay for a trip to the Delaware or Maryland beach areas. We loved that it was off the Route 1 grind and was in the middle of our usual spots from Lewes, Henlopen, and Berlin and OC Md. Driving the back roads exposed us to a lot of areas (check out the Clayton movie theater1) I'd never visited before and this from a 50+ years history with the area. The cottage itself was pristine - very clean and very nicely appointed (dishes, cutlery, etc.). Loved that linens and beach towels were available. That really saves a lot of bulk when packing! Nice large lawn to walk my dog. The Royal Farms on the corner, a few steps away, is an additional bonus! All is all it was a great experience and I would not hesitate to book this again. Speaking of, booking was a good experience and the agent was very responsive and communicated well.
Hello there, your cottage was very cute and clean. Nicely decorated with some super cute colors. Kitchen was stocked with the basics to be able to survive for a short time cooking in the kitchen. The only thing we really found that we needed was a spatula. Having a few plastic bags/cling wrap, might be a nice gesture.
I think it might be useful if you were to tell us how to operate the overall house speaker system. I have a friend thatâs pretty good with that kind of stuff and we figured it out.
We did have a slight situation, we ran out of toilet paper. Not having any spare rolls around was very inconvenient for us. Itâs a good thing Royal Farms is within walking distance.
We found the lights in the overall house being very, very bright. Have you ever considered putting a dimmer switch in every room, especially the bedrooms.
We love playing the corn hole game outside. It got us all to be very competitive. The furniture on the back porch was very nice. Plenty of room for all of us to sit around and chat in the evening. The unfortunate thing is everything was wet in the morning, so we couldnât have breakfast out there. Thatâs not your fault, but I thought Iâd make the observation.
Our first night there, they were doing construction in front of your cottage. Once again, something not under your control, but it did give us a little concerned. We just directed them through the Royal Farms parking lot.
I hope this helps.
