Ponderosa Sunset Retreat is a gorgeous, 2 bedroom 2 bath condo located fountain side in the Pine Meadow Village community moments away from Sisters city center.   Accommodating up to 6, it's perfect for two small families, a couples trip, or a friends getaway! 

The spaceWe can't wait to welcome you to The Ponderosa Sunset Retreat! Our home is located in the quaint town of Sisters Oregon, within a short walk distance of amazing restaurants and shopping, and just a short drive from breath taking hiking/biking trails, skiing and golfing. We're located in the cozy neighborhood of Pine Meadow Village, with easy access to Highway 20 to come and go to local restaurants, shopping, and activities. We can accommodate up to 1 cars inside the garage. Additional street parking is first come first serve. 

You'll feel right at home from the moment you walk in at the open-air feel of the home as natural light encompasses the open living and dining area from just about every angle of the room.  Wind down after a day out in our cozy living space in front of our gas fireplace or enjoy the beautiful Central Oregon Sunsets from our patio. 

The chef in your family will enjoy being a part of the day-to-day with the kitchen being open to the living space.  Our kitchen comes fully equipped to include a large fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher, dishes, cookware, silverware, crockpot, blender, toaster, and even children's cutlery and dinnerware!  Our breakfast bar completes the kitchen space, with four stools to enjoy a light meal! 

Down the hall the first door to your right has the laundry room with full size washer and dryer.  Next you will come to one of two bathrooms.  This bathroom includes a shower, and single vanity.  Followed by the guest bedroom with a full size bed.

The primary bedroom is located on the lefthand side of the hallway. It comes with a King size bed, reading nook, walk in closet and ensuite bathroom with a double vanity. 

The patio with views of the fountain and walking paths is an oasis where we envision guests enjoying their favorite drink while grilling a delicious meal.  

The Pine Meadow Village community pool is available to guests and is just a few steps away.

Clean, comfortable and quiet!

We loved this place for several reasons but one of the best is sitting in the living room enjoying the view of the mountains! The pond and animals are beautiful too. I hope to stay here again in the future. Thank you for offering such a charming spot for guests.

Unfortunately it could have been better

The location, property (good quality, clean and matched the description), communication with the owner/ property management was great. The sheets were uncomfortable; scratchy and abrasive. I've stayed in rented properties, hotels... I haven't had this experience. I couldn't get comfortable, sleep was not great. This had a direct and negative impact on my vacation. I checked with the owner/ property management, they responded quickly, this I appreciated. Unfortunately they weren't able to offer a solution. Other than this issue, my stay would have been wonderful.

Upscale & Convenient for Sisters and Beyond

This condo in the upscale Pine Meadow Village provided a great base for getting to know Sisters. It's an easy walk to anything in Sisters.. Everything was as expected except for the coffee. The package provided appeared to be left over from a previous guest. Also it was from a coffee company in Vernonia, Oregon not Sisters. One comment about the property description: I would suggest including a little more detail about the location of the garage. The garage numbers are on the building doors (which face west toward the units) rather than the garage doors themselves. I found the garage for the unit by pressing one of the garage door openers - not the Genie brand, but the unnamed brand. The Genie opener didn't work for some reason. This unit does get the bright afternoon sun and it was lovely in May, but might be too much in the heat of the summer.

Had a Great Stay

The entry code we were given didn't work because it needed to include a check Mark at the end that we weren't given. Very frustrating. Also the patio door windows and large living room windows were so filthy we could barely see through them. Otherwise things were clean.

Peaceful Property

Great condo! Beautiful inside and out. Did not skimp on mattresses, we slept great! Condo was beautiful and kitchen had everything we needed. Very walkable to all shops and restaurants in downtown Sisters. Enjoyed using the community pool and hot tub. Only minor issue was the door code had been updated and we couldn’t get in at first, but management got back to us quickly. Would 100% stay here again!
