Great place, very clean and had everything we needed. Richard and Sioni answered all my questioned and were available if needed. Went to the poconos with my youngest son and my brother to look for property to buy and do some fishing and actually the best fishing was right out the back door in the little lake, we caught catfish, trout, walleye, crappies it was great. This townhouse is in a great location as itâs close to everything yet far enough away so itâs not too crowded with people. . Great experience and will definitely stay there again.
Les points faibles : Communication, emplacement, exactitude de lâannonce
Firstly, it was extremely hot inside. The listing did not say there was or wasnât AC. They should have clearly mentioned no AC.There was nothing in the listing that said that it was extremely hot all around the house especially in the bedrooms. It was very hard to sleep at night and it was even thought of to sleep on the floors in the living room because of the heat. They had fans in the rooms but they did not really do much it was still there.Second, the water from the sink was disgusting. The water was so white and filthy. When we asked the owners what was going on with the water they stated thatâs how the water is from the township but thatâs not the case because I called the township and they said otherwise. When flushing the toilets there were a few times where it was hard for it to flush which leaves me to believe they have plumbing issues. White water and bad flushes no good. They advertised they had smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors however some were not working condition which is an extreme hazard and we did not feel the safest.See attached pictures. The chandelier also had some wires exposed. Most dishes were dirty and the grill was dirty. If you make us pay a cleaning fee, I expect for everything to be clean. Itâs the responsibility of the owner to ensure that. 1 roll of paper towels were left and it was not even a full roll. Over all the trip was a fun trip the worst part was the stay at the condo. The location was bad too, ghost town.
Hosts were great, place was well stocked with supplies. We loved sitting out on the back patio and loved the pond. We had a great stay. Some of the features are dated but functional. Listed correctly, but I missed no air conditioning, plenty of fans provided.
My husband and i stayed here so we could go to scranton for our movie premiere. It was a very nice place to stay. Very clean and cozy. The owners were great communicators on directions of arrival and departure. We would definitely stay here again.
Wonderful Stay â Clean, Cozy, and Great Location!
We had a fantastic stay at Richard and Sioniâs place! The two-bedroom home was spotless, smelled great, and had such a cozy atmosphere. The owners provided clear and helpful instructions, making everything easy to navigate. The location was perfectâclose to many great restaurants and attractions. We truly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back again. Highly recommend!
We had a great stay at this property. It was clean and the kitchen and baths had the basics we needed to help make our stay comfortable. The host had great communication and clear instructions. We really enjoyed our stay. Thanks for having us!
The location was great for skiing at Jack Frost mountain, and the hosts were great with communication and accommodating us. They were able to let us check in a little early, which was helpful and greatly appreciated. Our main complaint was the furniture. The bedding was terrible and provided for a poor sleeping experience. I have a bad back to begin with, so perhaps I'm more sensitive to this. The pull-out couch was terrible as well, but that is more expected to be that way, so it's hard to complain about that. The lounge chairs in the living room were old and sunken in over the years of use. The kitchen table also felt unstable, although was still functional. Since it was the winter, we did not go outside to use the patio or be near the lake. The bathrooms were fine (the decor wasn't that great, but I don't care so much about that, so that doesn't affect my rating). All in all, it wasn't a bad experience. Had we paid more, I would have been more upset, but considering the price, it wasn't terrible for what we got. I definitely would not stay in this place again. But the hosts were fine and check-in process was easy. They should really buy new beds and a couple pieces of furniture.
Owners communicated extremely well. Lovely little quotes scattered around the house. Linens and towels were provided. Perfect place for our family to enjoy a day of skiing at Jack Frost, and big boulder.
