This gorgeous; two-story Sunflower Beach home offers 2 bedrooms; 2.5 bathrooms; accommodations for 7 guests; and a host of incredible amenities—including a lovely private deck; and an unbeatable location just steps from the beach and a short bike ride. Spacious; open floor plan in the main living level provides plenty of room for everyone to relax! Guests will love the large flat-screen television and comfy, plush living room furniture. The living room sofa is a comfy and plush king-size sleeper sofa. The kitchen's granite countertops; stainless steel appliances; and gas range make preparing meals a delight; and the nearby wet bar offers a great place for preparing evening cocktails. Enjoy additional sleeping on the king-sized sofa bed. The luxurious master bedroom offers a plush king-size bed; a flat-screen TV and a private ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower; a tub; and a dual-sink vanity. Place was great. Perfect for me, my wife and kid. Only thing I would say is there was a lot of bird waste outside on the chairs/table/patio which made us not want to use the space. I know this is hard to control all the time but you could tell it was all old and could have been cleaned. Would definitely rent again.

Nice place for a small famil

The place was really cute and clean. Next to the water feature is an added bonus. On the website it didn’t say anything about a washer and dryer, but there is one upstairs that was super nice for staying on top of clothing while there for a week. We ordered groceries to help keep cost down from HEB in Aransas Pass. I recommend also getting a golf cart to get to the beach and drive to Port Aransas to get around.

Amazing House-we had a blast

My family of 5 (6,5,2yo kids) all stayed at casa Blanca and we loved it! Beautiful location right by a pond and fountain, amazing patio, great layout! I loved the master bath-so relaxing! We rented a golf cart and could get everywhere easily-the beach was so close and a golf cart drive away, the pool was amazing, restaurant on the premises and a bar/restaurant at the resort next door too! So much fun-we will be back!

Sunflower beach

Beautiful home but it does have some maintenance issues. There is a problem with the locks on one set of the doors. Fire alarm went off & maintenance never came to check it out or replace the battery that we knew of. Lots of construction in the development but several of the homes nearby are almost finished. It has fantastic porch.

Port A getaway

The house itself was amazing. One of the best places we’ve ever stayed. Exactly as pictured. The only frustrating part was how far away it was from the beach and the pool was further than we expected. Had we known we needed to rent a golf cart beforehand, we would have. Asked about it at check in, but they were sold out already. Probably wouldn’t have been as big of an issue if it hadn’t been so horribly hot. A lot of construction, so it was difficult to find initially. Once we found it, we truly loved the house, though! So comfortable and had all the amenities! We ended up reserving chairs and umbrellas in the beach, but had to figure out how and where to do that….this is a must due to all the people on the beach!! Also, apparently there are activities at the pool, but you don’t know if you can do them, or they are just for property owners. On-site communication could be a little better. We will definitely be back, now that we know what we’re doing!

Quiet getaway

Short stay with family. I think we chose a great time to go. I think it was us and maybe a few others in community so it was pretty vacant. I was kind of worried with the layout of how the houses were compared to parking, distance to pool and distance to pathway to beach but it was all very reasonable. We walked it with kids wagon etc. we did have some issues which I’ve never experience with any of our stays on Vrbo. When we arrived there were no keys left in lock box as instructed. Then no one to call except after hrs and they don’t answer you have to leave a message so that was kind of nerve racking. Next the master shower kept flooding the bathroom so my husband had to fix that, The gas stove wouldn’t stop igniting if that makes sense. Nothing major or things that would upset our vacation but I just feel like there should’ve been some better routine maintenance on the place. Would definitely go back.

Nice home, but noisy location

SBC8 Casa Blanca was a very nice home, but our stay there was disappointing because of all the noise around it. It is one of only a few homes in that area that are complete. All of the rest are under construction. The construction workers showed up around 7:00am and worked until around 5:30 or 6:00pm most days. The one afternoon we decided to take a little nap, the lawn service showed up with mowers, weed eaters, and leaf blowers. More noise. The view from the bedroom and living room was a large lot being prepared to build more homes, and the big Caterpillar machines were digging and beeping (when they went in reverse) all day long. The poolside cafe was not open all week long, but I guess that was because there was no one around all week. We were the only ones who used the pool all week. I think once the construction completes, this will be a pretty nice place to stay.

This was our first trip to Port Aransas and our stay at Sunflower Beach was PERFECT. Great location, easy access to the beach, and the house was a great fit for a family of four. I highly recommend Sunflower Beach Resort and will defiantly rebook on the next trip down.

Fun but not worth it

All was good except the unit we rented had a number of problems. The lock broke. I must say thought that the people really moved quickly to fix it as we were locked out. The upstairs TV did not work (asking for a subscription). We were supposed to get a wedding discount on our Golf Cart but I noticed it was not applied. There was a ton of construction. I had roofers lifting plywood over my car. There were nails all over the parking lot and hammering early in the morning. For the price we paid the value with these issues were just not there.

We had a great time at the Sunflower 🌻. We stayed in the Casa Blanca. It was nicely furnished and quiet. Our 4 year old will be talking @ her beach getaway for a long time! :)

Great stay!

Had a great stay. The home was well stocked with everything you needed - kitchen supplies, towels, toiletries, etc. Was very clean. Kids loved the bunk beds! Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay!!!

Sunflower Cabin 8

Very nice home, new, clean, and well appointed. Some suggestions for improvement:. Air conditioning system was not adequate to cool the house. We were unable to get the temperature below 77 during the day or night. Also, due to recent rains, there were lots of mosquitoes outside and we were unable to enjoy the patio. It would be a good idea for the subdivision to hire a fogger to go around at night and spray for mosquitoes. It also would have been helpful if we had known the only coffee maker was a Keurig. They didn't provide any Keurig cups, so we had no way to make regular coffee.

Here are a few suggestions: fix the fireplace and tub drain closure. Gas lights were not working on outside patio, so there was not enough light to eat out there. That was the only table large enough for our group of 5. Also a grill would be great addition.

Great place but the location is not ocean view and it is a long walk to the pool and beach!

We the place itself was very nice upscale and everything. Lots of stairs. The biggest disappointment is was the location. Your view is a dirt lot with building happening all around you. The deck is nice and the little pond was relaxing but if you have small kids it is long walk to the pool.

The decor is refreshing and up to par with a 4 or 5 star beach resort - the bonus is that you have your own kitchen, full sized refrigerator and lots of space to spread out. My only (very small) request is that management would leave a sample size amount of laundry detergent because I forgot to bring it. We also rented a golf cart that made it fun for us get to the beach and back and also tour around the neighborhood.

The interior design was absolutely beautiful, and the house was very clean. The kitchen was the most well-stocked kitchen we have ever visited. The bedrooms are upstairs. The adorable bunk room is great for kids; however, that room gets warm and doesn't have a fan. We searched the entire house for a portable fan but ended up sleeping on the pull out couch. Which, the Restoration Hardware couch is beautiful but also comfortable to sleep on. (there is a fan in the living area and the downstairs seems cooler than upstairs) Despite the sleeping issue, we would still give this cabin a 5 star review. This cabin is also private and next to a water retention tank-it is very serene!
