We selected this location for its perfect blend of peaceful lakeside living and proximity to vibrant towns with a wide range of activities. Nestled on North Nokomis Lake, a serene 475-acre lake with depths reaching 73 feet, North Nokomis Lodge offers an ideal setting for a relaxing yet adventure-filled getaway. Its prime position is perfectly between St. Germain, Eagle River, Lake Tomahawk, Minocqua, and Rhinelander, giving you easy access to a variety of charming towns, each brimming with unique shops, local restaurants, and outdoor attractions.
This area is known for its endless recreational options, whether you're seeking peaceful outdoor moments or exciting activities. Within minutes, you'll find everything from golfing and go-kart riding to horseback riding and exploring scenic bike trails. Take a leisurely stroll through local flea markets or grab a sweet treat from the local ice cream shops, all are just a short drive away. With countless dining spots and lively bars to choose from, the area offers something for every taste.
However, you don’t even have to leave the cabin to enjoy the beauty of the area. The tranquil North Nokomis Lake provides ample opportunities for swimming at our sandy beach, fishing from your private pier, or enjoying a peaceful paddle in the kayak or paddleboat. For those who want to get out on the water, we also have a fishing boat available for use. Plus, if you’ve brought your own boat, there’s a public boat landing nearby for easy access.
Whether you prefer to explore the surrounding towns or unwind by the water, the combination of a quiet, nature-filled setting and the convenience of nearby attractions makes this location the perfect choice for your next vacation. At North Nokomis Lodge, you'll find plenty of ways to enjoy the beauty of North Nokomis Lake. Fish right off the dock, from your own boat, or even from the provided fishing boat. For an extra touch of relaxation, gather around the outdoor firepit, where you can roast marshmallows, cook a campfire meal, or simply enjoy quality time with loved ones under the stars.

Our beach area offers a beautiful, sandy swimming spot with crystal-clear water and a gentle, gradual slope, making it perfect for all ages to enjoy a refreshing dip. The true crown jewel of the property is our spacious screened-in porch. Here, you can unwind with a good book as a gentle lake breeze surrounds you, or marvel at the breathtaking sunsets from the perfect westward-facing view.
