We are walking distance to town, plenty of shopping, restaurants, bath house, trails and the park. I love Cacapon Park, it is 10 miles down the road. There is so much to do in Berkeley Springs. You'll have to keep coming back!

Weekend get away

I really enjoyed our stay here. The location was convenient we were able to walk to get anything we needed. It was clean and bed was very comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.

Greatly Convenient Location and Rooming

Went to Berkeley Springs to attend a wedding anniversary and it was close by and affordable. It's quiet and restful and there were adequate eating options nearby. It was perfect for my needs.

Great stay in Berkeley Springs!

The room was clean and comfortable, contained a small refrigerator, and owner supplied a set of basic toiletries in the bathroom, as well as a coffee station in the common area. The location is ideal, being on the main street through town, and a quick walk from numerous gift shops, coffee houses and the Berkeley Springs Park and museum. Thank you for a wonderful stay in Berkeley Springs!

Cute room, great location

We loved the bedroom with full bath and a common living area. Very nicely decorated, comfortable bed, and a great location. We had a few problems that we talked to the owner about so I'm hoping they resolve the issues.

My room was comfortable and clean and located in downtown Berkeley Springs. The stairs leading up to the second floor are a bit high for those having any struggle with that.

Weekend getaway

We like staying in town so we can walk everywhere. This was perfect! We were worried about street noise, but that was not an issue. We will stay there again! The only issue is the mattress. It should be replaced.

Clean. Listing is misleading. No mention of the 21 stairs to access the room. Pictures show room and common areas like they are one space. Floors are uneven/not level. "Small town feel" means next to a highway with trucks engine breaking all night long. Beware.

So sorry you had a bad experience. Hopefully the bypass will get rid of the noise and I will put that there are stairs in the listing.

Limited TV.

The TV would come on and off many time, seemingly for no reason. I thought it might be a loose electrical since it seemed to be trigered when we moved about. The note in the room indicated it was due to internet coming and going.

It’s been very windy and the internet isn’t the best . Can’t get Comcast or Verizon in Berkeley!!! So sorry , but my place does have the mineral waters! Relax and read a book while your soaking up all those minerals 😁

Falsely advertised. Renter beware!

I attempted to stay here. As soon as I entered the hallway, I was hit with the strong smell of cigarette smoke. When I got to the room, the code Inwas given did not work. This was definitely not a single family home. It reminded me more of a bed and breakfast without the breakfast as there was a common area for the kitchen. When I contacted the host, she offered to send the cleaning people to spray the smoke away. No amount of spray will remove this amount of smoke. I was in the building less than 5 minutes and the smell stayed in my hair.I asked for a refund and have yet to receive it. Unless you are a smoker looking to share your rental with others, stay away from this property.

Simple, Pretty Room in Central Walkable Location for a Great Price

This room had just what we needed for a weekend stay. The bathroom had a bathtub as well as a shower, which was a welcome surprise. The shower had plenty of hot water and good water pressure. The bed was comfortable. There are three (seperately rented) rooms off of the main hallway, so we were able to hear other people coming and going up and down the stairs during the day, as you would if you were staying in someone's home. Keep that in mind if you prefer complete privacy. We use a white noise machine at night everywhere we travel, so we could not hear sounds from the street or hallway at night, although you may hear noise if you do not use a white noise machine. We loved being in a central downtown location and being able to walk to get coffee and to all the unique shops. There is a common/shared family room area with a small refrigerator, microwave and Keurig coffee maker with disposable cups, paper towels, K-cups, paper plates, and plastic silverware. There was plenty of parking off of the street in a gravel parking lot on the side of the building. The rooms are above an ice cream restaurant. Wonderful, unique experience if you are looking for a basic room in a central, walkable location.

Be Aware! Listing is inaccurate. I have no idea where all the good reviews are coming from. We love Berkeley Spring and were excited to spend time there, but we had bad experience with this host. Place is not smoke free as listed. In one of the other rooms, some people live there long term. They smoke a lot, and they are pretty loud. You won't have the entire place to yourself as listed, just a small room in the apartment where is two more separate rooms are rented by someone. So you will share some type of dinning room where is a strong cigarettes' smell (all of our clothes and bags smelled afterwards). There was also a dirty fridge and the trash can was full. The bathroom was cold, heater did not work in a bathroom, and shower was freezing. We couldn't reach the owner on our first day, I had to contact customer support about our issues. Eventually, when I reached the owner, she was careless about our problem. She said she can't control the other people before hanging up and blocking me. Unbelievably rude host. The positive thing was that the room and bathroom was clean, towels and bedding was fresh, located in downtown. Overall, it's only good for people who do not care about smoking, noise, and privacy.
