## Space

Immaculately renovated two-bedroom, two-bathroom suite in a multi-unit building only two blocks from Downtown Santa Barbara & State Street. The original Spanish architecture has been preserved while offering modern upgrades & conveniences.

The primary bedroom of this 843 sqft unit has a king-sized bed and a private en-suite bath with dual-sink vanity and shower. The secondary bedroom has a queen-size bed and a private en-suite bath with a rain shower/tub combo. The living room Crate & Barrel sleeper sofa sleeps two guests on a comfortable queen mattress. The full kitchen has all stainless appliances with an open-concept living and dining room. In addition, there is an in-unit washer/dryer, a flat-screen smart TV with streaming, casting, or Airplay features, and a Samsung split heating/AC system in all rooms for ultimate comfort.

NOISE DISCLAIMER: This unit is above lower units; please know this when booking as noise transfers downstairs. We ask for extra diligence in this unit to respect noise levels at all hours to avoid disturbing downstairs guests. Noise can also be heard from downstairs units.

*NO PARTIES: We have a strict 'No Party' policy-parties or events are not allowed. Quiet hours are enforced from 10 pm-8 am.*

*PETS: ONLY 1 PET ALLOWED (N/A to service animals, applicable to ESA's). A pet fee will apply; pets can not be left unattended in your room. Please add your pet to the reservation, or disclose your pet to our hospitality team after booking.

*Our cleaning fee includes professional cleaning of the unit and outdoor space. As part of The Living Wage Pledge, we are committed to paying our cleaners fairly. A living wage is a minimum income necessary for someone to meet their basic needs and participate in their community.*

## Access

This is a self-serve stay. We provide contactless self-check-in. The doors are all equipped with smart locks, and a unique code will be generated and sent to you on check-in day.

Parking and EV charging (shared amenity):

Casa Jardin offers free guest parking in its private parking lot at the back of the property. Please use free street parking if the lot is full. One parking spot per unit on a first-come, first-serve basis. EV chargers are available for guests to use during their stay. Two shared J1772 chargers are mounted on the left side of the parking lot. Two shared Tesla chargers are located on the right side of the parking area. Please bring your own adaptor if needed, and please disconnect when not charging to allow other guests access to the chargers. Casa Jardin does not monitor parking spot use and we are unable to request guests to move their vehicles.

## Interaction

This is a self-serve stay. We are off-site hosts; there is no front desk or office, and we provide contactless self-check-in. We have a dedicated hospitality phone line in case of emergencies (24/7) and our team is available on call, text, or chat during 5 am - 1 am to help assist you during your stay!

## Neighborhood

Located within walking distance to nearly all restaurants and retail stores on the State Street corridor, 20+ tasting rooms, 10+ breweries, and countless choices for eating or drinking make this an ideal location for anything that may bring you to the world-renowned Santa Barbara Coast.

Please note that there is an active construction site across the street, led by the City of Santa Barbara. Per the city's noise ordinance, construction work is allowed from 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (weekdays) and 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (Saturdays). Work is prohibited on Sundays and legal holidays. We apologize if you experience any disturbance due to this work - it is beyond our control :(

Santa Barbara Transit Center is five blocks away.

## Notes

For security, there are cameras on the exterior of the building.

This complex does not have live TV service. Instead, all TVs have apps (Netflix, Hulu, YouTube TV, and Amazon Video) for your streaming pleasure. The property has gigabit wifi, and the unit has a private network for guests to cast directly onto the TV.

Full refund if canceled 24 hours in advance, minus 4% credit card transaction fee on VRBO and direct sites.

The condo is cute and clean, kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals if you so choose. Walking distance from State Street. It was exactly what we needed while in town visiting family.

Our family enjoyed our stay and liked having room to spread out with separate bedrooms and bathrooms from our kids. Very convenient with downtown SB and a beautiful park within walking distance. Clean and modern. Appreciated the board games, as well as the well stocked kitchen and bathrooms.

Great location and amenities!

The rental was better than we expected. Fully stocked with items we may have forgotten. The parking was always available however it is a one way entry and exit. I loved the proximity to State St and it felt safe walking at night around the neighborhood. The place was very clean and all of my guests were beyond impressed. I would definitely stay again.

Convenient location — but not entirely comfortable for 4 adults

Great location within walking distance of State Street. Quiet, clean with well equipped kitchen and bathrooms. Comfortable beds. Not so great: Couch is very uncomfortable and will not seat 4 adults. Need to add lightweight blankets as an alternative to heavy overly warm comforter. Much better than a hotel but with a few enhancements could be terrific.

I would have given this a 5 star rating, however it was disclosed there was construction going on - had to keep the windows closed all day as it was really noisy. I know it is temporary, so in the future, it’s got to be better. The room was ample space and i loved the stocked kitchen. I recommend (after the construction is over if you don’t like noise all day)!

Great experience

We were pleasantly surprised by how nice the place was. The property was immaculate and very modern. The neighborhood was great. The little touches made it really special. They had water, coffee, popcorn in the kitchen and sleep items in the bathroom. We didn’t use it all but was nice to know it was there. Would definitely stay here again. Only suggestion is to have a few lamps in the living room.

SB over Thanksgiving

The property is newly renovated, clean (spotlessly scrubbed), functional and stylish. The kitchen is well stocked. The appliances are new and upgraded. Neighbors were quite. The only minor issue we had was that we had to figure out how to load our streaming app on the beautiful SONY smart TVs (some apps were pre-loaded (Peacock, Netflix), others were not (YouTube TV, Paramount+) - memory was full so we had to delete and then load apps (e.g., YouTube TV, Paramount+). Yes, you'll need your own streaming accounts. No cable TV. Casting from iPhone or iPad didn't work. Not compatible with Spectrum streaming (I'm leaving these details for the benefit for others). Otherwise, a beautifully appointed and immaculately clean property, and extremely well renovated. Enjoyed and plan to stay again in future.

Great spot for a Santa Barbara get away with friends

The unit had a nice amount of space, even for 6 adults Unit very clean and modern Location very convenient to funk zone and pretty much everything downtown Complex location is ok - parking lot views But, all and all, for the price and the spaciousness of the unit, a perfect choice for a 1 night stay with family and friends attending a concert at the SB bowl

This Unit was perfect. It is very well done and efficient. The beds were amazing. It is walking distance to shops and water. It is a smaller space. Perfect for 2 couples. Had trouble with the TV but that is because we are old and don’t get the streaming! Would highly recommend
