Adventure, rejuvenate, escape the ordinary. Green Hideaway is tucked among the trees in the private community of Pine Mountain Lake - Groveland. Relax and recharge with a vacation in this cozy hillside home. Fill your days with outdoor activities within Pine Mountain Lake, or venture out and explore nearby Yosemite, ski/snowboard/snowshoe, fish, hike, bike or river raft!
Pine Mountain Lake private community amenities include a lake with multiple beaches, swimming pool, golf course with clubhouse restaurant, archery range, kayaking, tennis, pickleball, and more. The Green Hideaway in Groveland is 26 miles from Yosemiteâs Big Oak Flat Entrance on Hwy 120.
The home has two decks on the front and back of the property. Views of pine forest and mature oaks through windows of each room create a treehouse atmosphere. The front deck is accessed through sliding glass doors off the living room and is a perfect spot for a cup of morning coffee or evening nightcap.
Exposed beams, wood vaulted-ceilings, and wood stove in the living room lend to the cabin feel of the house. Central heat and air, along with ceiling fans in the living room and master bedrooms mean easy to control comfort.
The kitchen is stocked and ready to prepare meals and includes an electric stove, oven, microwave, and dishwasher. A keurig and instant kettle are available with coffee and tea starter packs*. A variety of pots, pans and cooking utensils, as well as flatware, placemats, dishes, drinking glasses, and wine glasses stock the cupboards. Additional appliances include: blender, toaster, and 6 cup coffee maker.
The back deck is just off the dining room and is complete with propane fire table, string lights and gas grill.
Smart TVs are available in the living room and master bedroom ready for you to login to your favorite streams. Board games, cards, and books are all available for the stay.
Master suite has a California King bed with memory foam mattress dressed in soft linens, a desk for work-from-home/study space, and ensuite bathroom. Family bedroom has twin bunk beds, along with an additional twin mattress. Beds sleep 5, your air mattresses can add to that (host pre-approval required).
Both the master bathroom and the second bathroom have a shower over tub with shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Bathrooms are stocked with bath towels, hand towels, wash cloth, and makeup towels. Beach towels are available in the hall linen closet.
Indoor laundry room has a full-size washer and dryer with a starter* supply of laundry detergent.
*heavy consumers should plan to bring additional supplies.
Accessibility: There are multiple stairs on the property. 21 steps from the driveway to the front door and several smaller sets of stairs between levels in the house and on the back deck. Our home is not suitable for those with limited mobility.
Families with Children: We welcome your family to enjoy the beautiful space, but please note that the home is not childproof and does not have a fenced yard. There are many amenities in the community for family activities including several playgrounds minutes away.

Our driveway leading up to the parking level is short but *VERY* steep ~15 yards long. During winter months four wheel drive with snow tires and/or chains may be required to access the roads to the community and access the driveway. Vehicles with trailers in tow or RVs CANNOT access the driveway. There is no parking on the street in Pine Mountain Lake Community.
