A sunny fully renovated apartment in the most artistic area of Koukaki. It sleeps 2 persons in 1 queen size bed. It features high speed WiFi internet (500Mbs), Bathroom with rain shower, 55"LG oled TV, KRK speakers, fully equipped kitchen, washer and a private balcony. Right next to Georgiou Olimbiou pedestrian street, 5' minutes walk from Fix metro station, 10' from Acropolis metro and in walking distance from all major attractions as Acropolis museum, Theatre of Herodes Atticus, Plaka.
The space
The apartment is located in a very nice spot in Koukaki area giving the opportunity to explore Athens and its highlights. It has all the amenities needed for a short or a long stay for a carefree vacation in Athens. It is a cozy and sunny-fully renovated -60m2 Athenian apartment, ideal for a couple or a family with 2 children.
The main bedroom has a brand new bed with a queen size mattress (1,60cm x 2,00) with multiple springs that is very comfortable for sleeping as well as a large closet for your clothes. It has also an Air Condition unit, a celling fan and an electrical heating convector.
The living room has 2 different rooms that are connected to each other as 1 open room space. Optionally, the 2 rooms could be separated to 2 extra bedrooms giving more privacy and sound isolation with the existing sliding doors. There is also an Air Condition unit, 2 celling fans and 2 heating convectors. Both rooms have front window doors that giving access to the balcony and the outdoor furniture as well as back side doors that giving access to the hallway that leads to the bathroom and the kitchen. In each room there is a sleeping sofa bed. There is 1 big single sofa (0,90cm x 2,00cm) and 1 smaller sofa (0,70cm x 1,80cm) that are ideal for sleeping 2 children. Fresh linens (sheets/blankets/towels) and high quality sleeping pillows are provided for all 3 beds in the apartment. All windows are double glazed for noise and temperature isolation and they have darkening shades and mosquito nets.
For your own entertainment there is a brand new LG OLED 55â TV and a pair of 2 KRK studio quality speakers that are connected to a T-plink bluetooth DAC. Ideal combination for movie funs and music lovers! There is also a dinning table for 4 and an office table with all the available cable connections. (HDMI, AUX, Ethernet). Internet Wifi speed is fast and ideal for remote workers.
For those who want to have breakfast or dinner outdoors and enjoy the sun-rays or the moon there is a nice balcony with 1 table w/chairs and various cushions. The balcony has also an electrical automatic system for lifting up or down the awnings (sun or shadow).
The brand new bathroom has high water pressure and features a rain shower. Best quality toiletries and a hair dryer are provided. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a refrigerator, small oven, microwave and 4 gas burners along with all cooking essentials (pots, pans, utensils, herbs, olive oil, vinegar, etc). There are also several necessary kitchen appliances such as Illy espresso machine (only illy pods), kettle, Moka coffee maker, french press, tea pot, toaster, sandwich maker, etc).
The apartment provides 1 maintenance cleaning before your arrival. In case you come to Athens for more than a week an extra cleaning can be arranged at an extra cost.
Guest access
The apartment is on the 3d floor and each floor has 2 different apartments. The building has only 4 floors and there is a working elevator in each floor. The main entrance (ground floor) is on the same level with the elevator (no steps).
Other things to note
Heating
The apartment is also perfect for winter accommodation. It has powerfull electrical convector by Nobo, 2 Air-Condition inverter units by Mitsubishi and bathroom heating. When you are not in the apartment you should have all heating devices in off mode (not operating).
Long term winter stays
For long term stays (more than 1 month) there is a special discount. Please contact me for more information.
Cleaning
During a long term stay its advisable to apply a professional cleaning in the apartment at least 1 or 2 times per month. This can be arranged at with the cleaning lady at a extra cost.
Neighbourhood / Location
The area is very safe and convenient and offers a lot of things to do and see. Authentic restaurants, movie theaters, wine bars, gelaterias, little jewellery shops and craft shops, museums and many more. Koukaki became really popular the last years and a lot of artistic shops and bars have opened all over the area. Artists, musicians, actors prefer this area. The apartment is located in the heart of Koukaki near the pedestrian Georgiou Olimbiou that has many nice restaurants, cafes and other shops to enjoy. A short walk from the apartment is the modern art museum and a little further up you will have the chance to visit the Acropolis archaeological museum. All sites are in walking distance from the apartment and metro station is just 5 minutes on foot. One of the things that makes this location really privileged is the fact that it is really close to the sea but also to downtown Athens.
The apartment is close to super markets and grocery stores which makes it really convenient to bring your groceries to the apartment. If you have a car you can park for free anywhere in the area if there is available spot. In case you are not that lucky you may choose to leave your car to a Garage nearby. This paid parking is available in the corner of Odissea Androutsou and Zan Moreas streets (20 meters from the apartment).
