6-Bedroom Woodlands Retreat with Indoor Fireplace

This spacious 6 bedroom, 4 bath cabin rests upon 82 acres of beautiful woodlands in the charming coastal town of McClellanville, SC just 30 to 45 minutes from Mount Pleasant and Charleston. Relax in a rocking chair with private waterfront views, roast marshmallows in the fire pit or fish from the dock. Rack up at the pool table and play a game of ping pong or ring toss while watching your favorite channels on satellite TV or cozy up to a warm crackling fire in the brick fireplace. Your woodlands retreat awaits!

The space
Two bedrooms have queen size beds and the other four bedrooms have a total of 8 twin beds so the house can sleep up to 12 guests. The outside of the home is all brick and the inside is all pine creating that warm cabin feel. The bedrooms are located down two hallways. Two bedrooms are located down the left hallway with a shared bathroom and one of those rooms has a queen bed and the other has two twin beds. The other four bedrooms and 3 bathrooms are located down the right hallway. Two of those bedrooms share a bathroom and one bedroom has a bathroom with shared access to the living area. The 6th bedroom has a queen bed and its own bathroom which can only be accessed from inside the room.

Guest access
You have complete access to this one-story home. There are no stairs leading to the home or inside it. The entrance, living area, and kitchen are large enough to accommodate a wheelchair; however, the width of the entryways leading to the bathrooms and bedrooms ranges from 22" to 25".

Property and Wildlife
The property rests upon 82 acres of private and peaceful woodlands. The house overlooks a huge fishing pond; however, swimming is not allowed due to the potential presence of an alligator(s). Other wildlife spotted on the property has been deer, rabbits, pigs, turkeys, and countless species of other birds. There is a motion sensor camera at the front entrance and one facing the driveway/equipment building. Both are very visible. There is another trailway camera but it is quite a distance away from the house and is used for wildlife monitoring.

Peaceful Seclusion
Due to the remoteness of the property, your cell phone service may not operate depending on your carrier. However, free WiFi is provided which may be used for WiFi enabled calls on your cell phone.

Extra Guests and/or Events
The house sleeps up to 12 guests; however, exceptions can be made with advance notice and fees for extra guests. Events are also allowed with advance notice; however, certain restrictions and event fees will apply. Extra overnight guests and/or events must be approved in advance of your booking.
