Central Key Lime Cottage Downtown

Key Lime Cottage is a cozy one-bedroom duplex on a quiet brick street only 4 blocks to downtown Dunedin and the water. You’ll love our fresh and pretty nest just a 5 to 10 minute walk from shops, restaurants, farmers' market, bike trail and waterfront sunsets. Beachy decor, well-equipped kitchen, and nice linens make it a delightful stay. The comfy queen bed and a pullout sofa bed provide plenty of space for your family, and the back yard for enjoying some Florida sun.
The space
On a quiet brick street lined with old live oaks and palm trees, three blocks from the water, and just one block from one of the main streets of quaint Downtown Dunedin, is our cute nest- one side of a duplex, a delightful retreat close to Clearwater Beach and Honeymoon Island. It has a real cottage-y feel, sitting among other Old Florida cottages in a superb location.

The place has been furnished with beautiful new tile throughout, sparkling new quartz kitchen countertops and stainless steel kitchen sink, new vanity, sink and toilet in the bathroom, etc.

There is parking around back, and a side entrance door increases your privacy- although this is a duplex, the solid block construction and the offset floor plans allow you to feel very private in your quiet, sunny and green retreat.

An electric fireplace in the living room provides a cozy atmosphere year-round (it can provide heat or just a soft glow), and fresh beachy colors make the place a soothing retreat after long days at the beach or enjoying downtown Dunedin's farmer's market, restaurants and pubs, only a few blocks away.

The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking- high quality pots, pans, and knives, plenty of dishes and glassware, microwave, toaster, blender, coffee maker, and starter supplies of coffee, filters, creamer, paper towels, Ziplock bags, plastic wrap, aluminum foil, etc.

In the bath, we provide fresh bath towels, beach towels, hand towels and washcloths, soap, shampoo, bath gel, and starter supplies of toilet paper and paper towels. There are also some grubby towels available for use if you need to wipe up the floor, wash your shoes, etc.

There is plenty of storage in the kitchen, bath and bedroom, including two hanging closets in the bedroom along with built-in drawers.

The new washer and dryer are a few steps from the side door in a separate room next to the parking area, you will also find the beach chairs, beach chair umbrellas, etc in a small shed out back.

We provide fast wifi, and the flat screen television offers free streaming apps and other streaming apps for you to log into your own accounts such as Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, etc. but no cable TV.

There is a sitting area on the front porch, as well as in the back yard.

The sofa bed has a high-quality Sealy mattress that is quite comfortable, and has nice bed linens. However, access to the bathroom is through the bedroom, so you better be good friends to have someone sleeping in the living room.

We love being in the heart of downtown Dunedin and hope you will come enjoy our little nest!

Guests have private, full access to the duplex, one parking spot, and shared access to the laundry room with the neighbor.
Other things to note
We allow one cat or dog to join you during your stay. We understand wanting to bring your pet for your extended stay. The pet must be well behaved when left alone as not to disturb the neighbors, etc. ***We charge a one time pet fee of $250. This is charged via Airbnb the day after you checkin. Thank you.

Please note that there is no cable TV, just a Roku dongle with some free channels. There are also apps such as Amazon Prime etc to log into your own accounts. It's so nice to stay in a cute quiet little place that is so close to all the action and charm of Delightful Downtown Dunedin!
