Sawmill Creek Lodging is the perfect location for your family and group to stay while adventuring in Seward and only minutes from the best shore fishing and hiking that Alaska has to offer!
What an excellent cabin! The picture of the outside doesnât do it justice. Wait until you get inside! And sitting by the covered outdoor fire pit while looking up at the mountains is surreal.
We had a nice stay. Rebekah was very helpful with suggestions when ee booked, which helped to plan our activities, including a boat tour to the Northwestern glacier with Major Marine Tours which was the family favourite.
We loved our stay at Sawmill Lodge. We had such a great time enjoying the beauty the property offered as well as easily getting to the shops and restaurants in Seward and Exit glacier. The house was well equipped for every need. Our family of 7 had plenty of space to enjoy together.
The rooms were very clean. The kitchen was stocked well. The location is minutes to everything in Seward. And the view of the mountains from the backyardâŠ.WOW!! A perfect place for family and friends. Weâd stay here again if we come to Seward.
We loved the property, hearing the river, views of the mountains- has it all. The home had everything you needed when traveling to Alaska. They even thought of the little things like blankets to sit out side with. We had a wonderful time and I would recommend this stay to anyone!
Just an all around awesome cabin in the woods. Close to Seward (5 min ride into town). Our host, Rebekah, was over-the-top helpful and genuinely gracious. The cabin was fully stocked and CLEAN!
Great space for our two families. We had 6 adults and 3 children under 10 and the rooms worked out great. The back yard fire pit was a nice addition. Great location. Thanks
This was a beautiful home in a beautiful setting. Obviously a clean, well-loved home. Rebekah made us feel like family. We would love to have the opportunity to revisit this part of Alaska again and would definitely contact Rebekah for lodging. Had a wonderful time.
The cabin was a nice place to relax just outside of town, cozy but with room for everyone. The back had a great view of the mountain and a trail to the creek. The bedrooms were all a good size, and there was room in the main room for all 6 adults and an infant to comfortably hang out. I was pleasantly surprised by the high chair and pack and play for the infant. My only suggestion would be more blackout curtains in the bedrooms.
We enjoyed our stay in this space. The beds were comfy as heck which was so nice after spending so much time outdoors using our bodies. The space was massive - totally could have fit more people than just the 6 of us. It was the largest kitchen we had among our 4 different stays in Alaska and we appreciated the spices and such that were available for cooking.
The outdoor space was gorgeous - there is a short walk to the river/creek in the backyard and the deck and covered space was incredible.
The space was close to all that we had planned to do in Seward and the Kenai Fjords.
