Pristine, serene 2300 sq ft. furnished seaside home with breathtaking views! Stunning open design, vaulted ceilings, central AC. Chef's kitchen. Radiant floors. Two fireplaces. Office, surround sound, wet bar, patio, two decks, lawn. 3-5 min to Plum Cove Beach, Halibut Point, Annisquam Lighthouse, Lobster Pool; 10-15 min to Good Harbor, Wingaersheek, Rockport and Gloucester galleries, restaurants, shopping, theaters. 1 hr to Boston. Specialty market/cafe nearby. Very special home!

This Lanesville mid-century modern home is all about light, open space, and fantastic views from nearly every room, onto the Ipswich Bay and Atlantic Ocean. Wireless, fantastic surround sound throughout. Vaulted ceiling open concept kitchen- dining-living area with a deck for dining as well. Stunning sunset views. Gas fireplace, stone hearth, large comfy window seat, beautiful gardens.

Our fully stocked kitchen is designed for serious cooking and entertaining-- with two sinks, two ovens, high end appliances, bamboo cabinetry and a stainless steel/granite island. There is a beautiful kitchen nook, complete with a built-in desk that has a perfectly unobstructed view of the sea-- a great place to work remotely, if one must!

The dining area has sliding glass doors onto the deck for clear sea and sunset view dining and lounging with an open sea air feel.

The primary bedroom has vaulted ceilings, water views, a queen bed and ensuite bath with a tiled shower and sea view. On the same floor, there is a second office/bedroom with a built-in, spacious desk, bookshelves, and a very comfortable Murphy bed with a new full sized hybrid mattress. There is a half bath just outside the bedroom door.

The first floor family suite includes more spectacular water views--another queen bedroom, a large family/TV room equipped with wifi for streaming, a second fireplace, a second full bath with a deep tub/shower, a laundry area, a granite wet bar, a second dishwasher and mini fridge, ample closets and storage, two stone patio areas with a gas grill, an outdoor lounging and dining area, and a very large lawn and gardens.

On the third floor of the home, you will find a sweet upper roof deck/lookout, perfect for sunsets, morning coffee, cocktails, cool breezes.

Whether coming to celebrate a holiday with family or friends, work remotely, or to undertake a peaceful retreat in a beautiful home surrounded by sea views and sunsets, we hope you will come to enjoy and appreciate our Cape Ann getaway home as much as we do!

Seaside Oasis

We just completed our two week stay at this property. From the moment I read the listing I knew this was the right place. The location was perfect with very easy access from major highways. The neighborhood was delightfully quiet and very friendly when we were able to encounter anyone. The open spance of the main level was so warm and relaxing. The open kitchen was fully equipped and so easy to navigate. The bedrooms were very roomy and comfortable. The downstairs level was ideal for our daughter and son in law and 2 little grandchildren…everyone was comfortable with room to spare. The upper sundeck was such a wonderful bonus! And then there was the spectacular deck off of the dining room…that’s where morning noon and evening precious time was spent overlooking the sea…that is why we chose this house. The sunsets were just indescribable.The house was just as perfect as it could be for us. The location is ideal to all destinations in both Rockport and Gloucester. Our mission was to just “unplug” and relax…and our experience far exceeded that! We cannot wait to return to this oasis by the sea.

Book this one now! There is no need to hesitate. This is it. Hands down. Paradise. Let’s first talk location - because what does anyone want more than the ocean? It’s right there, steps away and smiling at you from almost all of the windows. And if the ocean is not enough, the freshwater quarry with its very comfortable water temperature is the frosting on top. We swam there every day. And now the house. The house is contemporary, spacious and exquisitely designed. You will spend much of your time in the giant light-filled kitchen, living room dining room with its floor to ceiling windows looking out at the sea, and a balcony for dining. The beds are comfortable The house comes with every piece of equipment you could ever dream of -- from the finest of coffee grinders to a professional sound system. The finest dishwasher, clothes washer and dryer. A fabulous stove, and enough sinks and counter tops for all the chefs in your family to be cooking simultaneously. You will go home wanting to re-do your whole house inspired by this one. A thoroughly refreshing week made possible by these two lovely, gracious generous hosts. Thank you both!!

We purchased this dream home away-from-home of ours in May of 2023, and really enjoyed our first season as hosts this past summer. We are confident based on all of our guests' experiences so far, and our own, that you will be as delighted as we are when having the opportunity to enjoy its wonderful angles, beautiful light and comfortable spaces. As veteran Airbnb travelers we know what is most important in a vacation home and aim to make sure your experience is a perfect one!

We hope you, too, will soon make yourselves at home, give us helpful feedback along the way, and come to enjoy our home as much as we do!

Lastly, we anticipate renting our home mostly in the Spring and early summer(from May until July 6th) this next season, so if you think you might be interested, please reach out to us asap about your dates while they are still available.
