Welcome to Blue Moon Shine Rentals and Madison-Villa!

Gather your family or large group for an unforgettable stay at family-friendly Madison Villa, a charming renovated 100+-year-old home. Guests rave about the safe, fully fenced backyard and all the recreation it offers for kids and grownups – cornhole, ping-pong, putting green, outdoor dining, grill, and firepit. You’ll love this 3-level home with 3 king bedrooms (+ 2 additional bedrooms) and 5 TVs. You’ll be within 15 miles of tons of Cincinnati attractions – zoo, stadiums, museums, and more.

KITCHEN: Fully equipped with an electric stove, refrigerator, oven, dishwasher, microwave, and coffee maker. Contains pots, pans, cutlery and other necessary items like oil, sugar, salt and pepper. It is stocked with everything you'll need to whip up a home-cooked meal, and still space to store your own items.

BATHROOM 1 (full): Located on the Level 1. Features a tub. Stocked with shower gel, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner and towels. Hair dryer is also available.

BATHROOM 2 (full): Located on the 2nd level. Stocked with shower gel, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner and towels. Hair dryer is also available.

There are outdoor security cameras located on the front porch and backyard. No indoor video cameras are installed.

Cameras: All security cameras record. A Ring camera is installed at the front door. Two cameras are installed in the backyard – one at the door and facing the driveway, and one facing the back door and side yard.

Madison Villa is not handicapped-accessible.

This is a residential neighborhood; noise should be kept to a minimum outside after 10 p.m.

Great house, we had plenty of room, wonderful family style kitchen, great outdoor space with privacy fence as we had small children and were able to let the them play outside quite a bit. Although they were 2 & 4 they “played” all the big kid games.

We loved our stay here! We had a group of ten girls stay for a low-key bridal shower weekend, and this was the perfect location. We had movie nights, made dinners together, and played games at the house. We drove up to Loveland for the bridal shower and an afternoon of shopping, and then tried out the Game Show Rooms in town.We especially loved that we could park several cars in the back and lock the gate behind them. Felt very secure for a group of women!These hosts were wonderful, the house was clean and organized, and we had a great trip!

Incredible Home and Location

We’ve stayed at Madison Villa for two years now and plan to do so for a third next year. The home is comfortable and luxurious, with an A+ back yard. You can easily walk to Madison Place for a morning coffee or the Bramble Patch for a late night beverage. Nearby is a community theater which offers great showings and the surrounding area has more than enough offerings for a comfortable stay.

Family weekend in Cincinnati

We stayed for a holiday weekend with a 2, 5 and 7 year old. The house was fabulous. Clean, plenty of space, easy check in/communication and safe. We will be back on our next visit to the Queen City.

Plenty of Space

We had a group of friends in town for an event. The property had plenty of room for us and everyone had their own bed (7). Although we didn’t utilize the outdoor amenities as we were gone a lot, there were there and ready to go. Only 15 mins from downtown was perfect. Great communication with the owners. Very easy to work with.

This is a beautiful property with many amenities. The owner responded quickly when we had questions during our time at the home. My only issue is my deposit being kept because the pots/pans provided scratched the stovetop.

Perfect Spot for Family Visit

We were a large family group visiting one of our sons in Cincinnati. This house was a perfect fit for us. The owners were so very accommodating and communicative. Kitchen was excellently appointed with everything we needed to cook family meals. Plenty of room and even a table large enough to fit our whole family for a Sunday supper! Very clean. Beds were all comfortable with good quality bedding and linens throughout the home. Due to weather, we were only able to take advantage of the amazing outdoor area on our last afternoon, but it was so nice. Something for everyone. The gated parking made us feel particularly secure and was very easily accessible for the 4 grandparents in our group. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

5 star stay!

This was our best rental, and we have used this type of property 1-2x a year for the past 8 years. It was a quality home, very clean, close access to the highway but very quiet and safe neighborhood. This home is great for those with children: we had 3 little ones, and the others couldn't hear them when they fussed at night, and the babies could nap without interruption during the day due to the quality of the home. The closet in the primary bedroom is large wnough for a twin mattress and either a pack and play or mini crib, all of which are provided. The enclosed backyard was wonderful, just as the photos show. The hosts were amazing to work with! When we come back to Cincinnati, well be staying here again!

Superb owners, immaculate property.

Kim and John are the most amazing hosts for this gem of a property. We had an unexpected stay in Cincinnati because my mom entered hospice. She passed away on Christmas eve and Kim & John responded to my urgent request to book their home. They were incredibly gracious and arranged for the house to be cleaned the very next day (Christmas!) so my family could move in and have a place to share our time together. They were also very available for any questions we had during our stay. The house was perfect- 4 bedrooms, all very comfortable and well-spaced out. Bathrooms had lots of hot water. Kitchen had all the necessary amenities and plenty of dishes. The living room was so comfy with the reclining sofas and the dining table easily sat 8. Easy check-in and check-out. We can't thank you enough for making a difficulty time a bit more comfortable.

Cousin Birthday Trip

** AMAZING TRIP!**Our stay at this house was absolutely perfect! As the Jameson family with six kiddos, we’re always looking for a space that can accommodate our large group—and this house did just that and more! We were in Cincinnati to celebrate the birthdays of four of our children, and despite the rainy weather, it turned out to be one of the best trips we've had.The house was incredibly spacious, allowing everyone to relax and enjoy themselves. The upstairs loft was a highlight for the kids—it was the perfect play area and kept them entertained for hours. And I’ve never seen a neater trundle bed! It was so comfortable and convenient for our little ones. The second-floor bedrooms were not only spacious but beautifully decorated, making the whole space feel warm and welcoming. I was surprised at how quiet it was for an older home, which made it feel even more cozy. While we could have used an extra bathroom, having two bathtubs made it easy to manage with 10 people, and it wasn’t a big issue at all.The backyard was truly ideal for a family getaway! Every break in the rain was spent outside, playing ping pong, putt-putt, or just enjoying the fresh air. The fenced-in yard was a huge bonus, keeping the kids safe and allowing us to park our cars with peace of mind.Overall, this house made our family trip extra special. It was comfortable, well-equipped, and in a great location. We loved every minute of our stay and will absolutely rebook when we visit Cincinnati

As a retired software engineer and a marriage counselor, we love traveling and seeing new things. We are from Kentucky and are huge KY basketball fans. Kentucky is the inspiration for Blue Moon Shine Rentals.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

This beautiful home was built in 1905 and was completely remodeled in 2021. The large fenced backyard invites you to sit outside and enjoy lovely evenings with your friends and family. We have a fire pit with six Adirondack chairs, corn hole, outdoor ping pong and a putting green. We have a gas grill, outdoor festive lighting and an outdoor dining table that seats 6. We offer fenced in parking in the back for added privacy/security. Madisonville is the hot up-and-coming area of Cincinnati and is short drive to see the Reds, the zoo and so much more that Cincinnati has to offer!
