Cette propriĂ©tĂ© se compose d'une grande maison principale victorienne avec un porche enveloppant classique, d'un chalet de 3 chambres, d'un chalet de 2 chambres et de deux chalets de «mĂ©nage». Il se trouve Ă  quelques pas de Mayo Beach, du port / de la jetĂ©e et du Main Steret du centre-ville de Wellfleet Center. Marchez jusqu'Ă  Mac's Shack, The Juice, The Pearl, Wicked Oyster, Mac's Seafood, The Bookstore Restaurant, Winslow's Tavern et d'autres excellents restaurants! This property is amazing!! It is close to the center of town but also very quiet. We had 20 people stay for a birthday party and there was plenty of room for everyone.

Great location for bars, shops and restaurants. Property was perfect for large group. Main home is 150 years old, which gives it character, but also means updates are needed.

We enjoyed our stay at The Moorings and visit every couple of years. I can’t say enough about the house, cabins and the location of the property. It fits our needs perfectly. April is a great host and very responsive to any needs requested. Our entire family look forward to staying there and enjoying the Outer Cape. The location is in an area that has fantastic restaurants: The Bookstore and the Pearl, The Wicked Oyster, Winslows Tavern. There is a great playground down by the wharf, tennis courts and basketball too. All enjoyed by myself and family and all within walking distance. Wellfleet and the Moorings are the real Cape.

The Perfect Wellfleet Celebration

The Moors was the perfect place for our family of 17 & 2 additional babysitters. We were celebrating a 4th July birthday, a 45th wedding anniversary, and the many summer memories of our grown children spent working as Truro & Wellfleet camp counselors, BJ’s & Beachcomber waitresses, and Wellfleet pond & ocean lifeguards. The owner was fantastic and quickly responded to all forms of communications and requests. The location was ideal for viewing the 4th July Wellfleet Parade, and every local venue that we enjoyed during our week stay was walkable. The ability to sit and relax in Adirondack chairs overlooking Wellfleet Harbor each evening was priceless!

The Moorings is FANTASTIC

It is wonderful every time we go! Kayaking from the backyard, walking to town and the pier, swimming in the pond and at the bay. A perfect location and all was lovely.

Great location

We really enjoyed our stay, it was our second time renting the house. We loved the beautiful backyard, the fire pit, the spacious wrap-around porch, and the view of the water. The location is amazing, with great restaurants in walking distance. The host was responsive and very helpful. Thank you!

Fantastic location and setup for a gathering of friends!

We stayed here for a gathering of friends from around the world. It was perfect -- plenty of space, an outstanding location (easy walk to many restaurants as well as the harbor), and all the facilities we needed. We had a great time and would highly recommend it to others wanting to get a large group together.

Beautiful Wellfleet

Awesome location for multigenerational vacation! Quiet backyard with beautiful views and room for lawn games. Cottages are adorable and big house has room for large family dinners. Walkable to shops, food, and boating. How could you not have fun and love this spot!

Wellfleet Summer Fun

This is our second year staying here -- we had such a great time last year we all decided to come back! The main house, cottages, and large yard (with beautiful water view) make this the perfect place for a multigenerational vacation. The proximity to beach, shopping, restaurants, and sporting activities cannot be beat. We are already talking about staying again next summer!

Magical Week By The Sea

Beautiful seaside victorian home provided the perfect location for friends to gather, reconnect, and enjoy everything that Wellfleet has to offer. Wonderful property!

Ideal location, lots of space for sleeping, swimming, paddle boarding, campfires, and just rocking on the front porch. Owner was very accessible and made sure, in advance. we knew what we needed to bring. You won’t be disappointed, it was great!

Beautiful Wellfleet Waterfront Compound

Our second stay at this beautiful property did not disappoint. Our large group enjoyed dinners and social time around the fire, on the porches, and picnic tables. Location provides a perfect hub for beach, boating and golf outings, paddling from the property, and short walks to galleries, restaurants, and hikes. We’ll be back!

Wonderful stay!

Gorgeous views of the tidal river! Kids enjoyed looking for crabs when the tide was out. We had multiple families and the "compound" worked very well giving each family space. April was great! She immediately answered our questions and if an issue came up she had it addressed shortly after. Would highly recommend this property!

Beautiful Wellfleet Compound

Perfect location for a multigenerational group looking to stay on the Cape. The main house and cottages are so charming. The views of the water from the small cottages cannot be beat, very peaceful! The big yard and cozy porch offer places for game playing, quiet conversations, and relaxing with nature. The ability to walk to restaurants, shops, and harbor beach was fantastic. Who says you can't please everyone!

Perfect wedding venue

We had the loveliest wedding at The Moorings! The historical house and little cottages accommodated a large family and allowed cousins and extended family to reconnect in a beautiful setting. The view is stunning. Mayo Beach, art galleries, Wellfleet Center and a number of excellent restaurants are all within easy walking distance. It was a special experience and there is no more magical spot in Wellfleet than The Moorings!

Family Reunion

Super convenient downtown location. Great for multiple families to spread out and have their own space. The yard is perfect for outdoor activities and accessible to the water (tidal). The main house is a step back in time and the cottages are updated and comfortable. Property owner/manager was very responsive and helpful.

Awesome Family Week

The Moorings is a spacious, private, and beautiful property to gather at with friends and family. Sitting in the backyard at the water feels secluded and peaceful, but the location couldn’t be more central or convenient to all Wellfleet has to offer - restaurants, shopping, galleries, and beaches. The house and property are full of history and rustic New England charm. Really unique and wonderful place to stay. April was super communicative and helpful. Everyone in our family is already talking about wanting to go back next summer!

Perfect location for family reunion

This was the perfect place to say with extended family during a pandemic during a last minute mini family reunion. Each family unit was able to have their own place which allowed for social distancing. We enjoyed the location, outdoor dinners with beautiful sunsets, long walks in the salt Marsh and Great Island and trips to both bay and ocean side beaches. April was very responsible and accommodating. Thanks for a great vacation and an opportunity for my family to safely get together during COVID.

Family quarantine get away

Property location is beautiful and peaceful. Great for time on the water with access to groceries and take out made it easy to distance safely and comfortably. House is an old house maintained for rentals so is not pristine but is very comfortable. There is only AC in one room but there are abundant fans. 3 outdoor picnic tables & big wrap around porch let us spend most of our time outdoors which was what we were looking for. Great stay.

I have spent summers in Wellfleet since I was a young child. I always admired The Moorings and when I had the chance to purchase it as an adult, I jumped on the opportunity! We have had so many gatherings of friends and family. It is the perfect gathering spot in the best location in Wellfleet. I hope you enjoy it as much as we have.

Walk to all the local restaurants and bars. Walk to the pier to enjoy a meal or ice cream with a view of the Wellfleet Harbor. Walk to and swim at Mayo Beach. Walk to the Tennis Courts and Recreation Center. Walk to the center of town for shopping, restaurants and art galleries. Close proximity (quick drive or bike ride) to the ocean beaches and kettle ponds. 20 minutes to Provincetown. Main house and cottages set up allows multiple families and friends to share a vacation property but have their own space at the same time. Large central yard to gather for meals or chilling by the fire pit.
