Jessica stopped us during her stay to say how much they loved the place, left a review in the book at yurt stating she had the best experience and her family loved the place and would be back. The yurt was cleaned from top to bottom before she checked in, everything wiped down, pulled out, vacuumed and mopped. All the blankets were also cleaned. There was an air mattress with sheets in the yurt yet she claims there wasn’t but she used them and got them dirty with food and juice. Jessica was told she left the place a mess with dirty dishes, food garbage and toys on tables & floor with empty water bottles under the couch and bed. She got food on multiple blankets and didn’t follow the rules. Jessica stated she had the best experience until we asked her about not following the rules, cleaning & picking up after her and her kids which she let do whatever they wanted , the food on all the tables, bed clothes, floor and tv shows this. Jessica never contacted us about any issues in the 2 days she was here. She was told when she booked, the day she checked in, the book on table in the yurt and the rules and info on here, and when she spoke to us after arriving, we told her we live on the property up the drive, our number, what’s expected, cleaning before you leave and if there’s any issues how to contact us. She claims she shouldn’t be expected to clean because there’s no running water. We explained there is a broom, cleaning supplies, paper towels and 2 five gallon bottles of water they could use to clean after their stay and she refused to do so. Instead she went from having a great experience and stay to the place was not clean to retaliate against us for calling her out for not following the rules. She had to be told to stop contacting us after we asked because she refused to stop sending messages harassing us because we she was mad about being asked why they didn’t follow the rules. Her entire review is a lie. She even tried to blame the mess she left in the yurt, on someone coming in after she left because it was left unlocked when she left. We pointed out we have cameras and no one else was on the property when she left but us because we live here. That’s when she proceeded to claim the place was trashed when she arrived but yet she never contacted us or VRBO. She saw us on the property every day, waved at us and even stopped us telling us they loved the place and never said anything about what she is lying about in her review. We had to contact VRBO to stop the messages she was sending because she wouldn’t stop harassing us making stuff up after we asked about the mess. She claimed she was upset because they had such a great stay and loved the place. That all changed when she was being held accountable for her mess, she began acting like a child blowing our phone up.
