It should have reflective tape on back deck for step down. You can’t see it with sun in your eyes. We had one person fall & three trip & someone catch them.

There was no lake view. The lake is about 1/4 of a mile or so from the house. We had to figure out how to get to the dock. The path is very narrow and all woods. My husband had to maneuver the truck through the woods to get to the dock. The water level was extremely low so we were not about to park our boat there after putting into the water about 5 miles down the road. The pictures make this house and boating area look marvelous but it is the opposite. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!! The house was okay. Lots of bugs and spiders which is to expected because of the wooded area. The AC kept changing so we had keep putting it on the temp we wanted. There was an over whelming smell of gas smell coming from the lawnmower that spews into the house. There was trash in the garage that was left. The refrigerator and freezer were not cleaned. There is only 2 tvs in the house. 1 in the master bedroom and 1 the den. Lots of carpet (old carpet) throughout house. Master bedroom is a metal framed bed. Kids beds were bunked but the bottoms ones were on the floor. WiFi did work. Water pressure was low. Some fans and lights did not work. There were a lot of things that were not mentioned that should have been. If I had to pick this place again, I would not! We cut the vacation short because of it.

We understand your complaint about the water level but it's not in our control as the level depends on rain and the Army Corps of engineers. We also cannot control the bugs outdoor which usual for summer in Georgia. We could have immidiately addressed all the other issues you mentioned if you let us know. Your frustration with things that out of our control doesn't Justify you trashing the place and breaking the house rules by smoking indoors.

We had an absolutely amazing time at the house. The 10 acres was a joy for my kids and their dog to explore on. The house layout works so well, master upstairs and the two guest rooms downstairs. The kitchen, worktop and dining room flow so well. Lounge looking out on to the property grounds along with the view from the front reading room is so peaceful and relaxing. Greenwood and Augusta are about 45 mins away and both offer everything you would need for your stay in the area. Elijah Clark and KnobHill state parks are a stones throw away. Great to explore with excellent facilities. All round 10/10. The host responded very quickly, was polite and courteous. The property should be on anyone's list, it comes highly recommend by us.

We had such a fun time staying here! The house is so nice, roomy, everything you need is there, close to everything and not far from the dock. The host is great!! Highly recommend and we will be back.

Great place to stay

The photos do not do this house justice. The living areas are very spacious, the property is well kept and tranquil, there's modern amenities/appliances, and it's just a very comfortable place to stay. Everything met or exceeded our expectations and this will be our go to place whenever we're in the area.

Great Getaway!

Absolutely loved our stay at the lake house. It was clean, beautifully decorated and had all the amenities! Owner thought of everything, we enjoyed grilling out, s’mores by the bonfire and walk to the lake. There were even plenty of towels, extra toilet paper and kitchen appliances. We will definitely be back!

Spring Break

Our family stayed here for a full week. It was just as described. We spent many hours walking in the woods, sitting outside and watching the wildlife. We were able to communicate with the owner whenever we needed, and they were prompt to respond. Check-in and out were simple and quick. We really enjoyed our time away from it all. The only con of the visit---the fish were not biting ;) We would recommend this place for anyone looking to get away from the hustle and bustle and just enjoy nature. 10/10

Private and inviting

We rented this home to be closer to the wedding venue where my daughter was married. The bride and 5 bridesmaids stayed in the house. The home is very secluded in a beautiful setting. It was very bright and airy inside. The girls said all the beds were comfortable and my daughter especially liked the large tub in the master bath. All the large windows were perfect for the bridal party to get ready the day of the wedding. The host has been extremely responsive within a quick timeframe. One bonus was that they didn’t have a long list of chores to do pre-checkout which was extremely helpful as we had to cleanup the venue location on the same day. I definitely recommend this property for a relaxing getaway to the country.
