Year round lakehouse/cottage on Balsam Lake in the Kawarthas. Enjoy the lake via the spectacular dock or by kayak, paddle board, canoe or on the ice in winter. The lakehouse has all the comforts of home but the real attraction is the sandbar location on Balsam Lake and it’s peaceful tranquility and crystal clear water. Fall asleep listening to the loons while the fire crackles. See the reflection of Venus shimmering on the lake and be inspired by the Milky Way. Enjoy the sunset from a hammock!
The space
Immaculate executive lakehouse on Balsam Lake. Large living area with big leather sectional couch, TV's and fireplace with open kitchen. Large bedrooms with oak floors throughout. This is a year round fully furnished home. Central Heating and Air Conditioning and all the comforts of home.
Guest access
Guests can use the entire house. Garage is usually not accessible. PWC and lift not for use. The canoe, paddle boards and kayaks and other lake toys can be used. Please use life jackets.
Other things to note
This cottage is listed for 6 guests maximum. Approval for booking based on that number of guests approved. No additional guests allowed. Fines and deposit will be forfeited if this occurs.

Additional rules
- Respect other homes as people live here. Best to have quiet time after 10
- No Smoking
- Treat this home with respect so we can keep a high standard for all guests and friends.
- No pets unless explicitly confirmed by owner. Pet Fee may apply.
- Follow notices in home including what not to flush. This is a septic system and the less that goes in there the better. Limit toilet paper where possible and absolutely no wipes or paper towels of any kind. Thanks
- Shoes off to keep the oak floors nice and clean
- Indoor fireplace use for Fall/Winter/Spring guests. Please ask for permission.
- Please do not try to use canopy over deck.
- No more than 3 cars. 6 People max. Could be 8 max if kids included. Needs confirmation
